Hey, guys and girls -
Pretty soon I must be off to have a nap, and go to work ~ and then it might take me a few days to get my work done, and get back on the forum.
You are all such wonderful people, so kind and lovely. Many of you know Blake much better than I do - either through correspondence here, or (for some of you luckier ones) meeting him in person.
Not that all the models we love, can't ALWAYS use our love and appreciation ~ but I think that Blake could really use ALL our love and support, this week. So, please, let us all be thinking of him, looking out for him, caring for him (and, if you are so inclined) praying for him, this week - and in the weeks to come.
When life is rotten, what do we all have, but our friends? I know that this site is about fun, and entertainment, and that's cool. But when a friend has suffered a big loss, like Blake just has, he needs to know that his friends have his back, and are caring for him, 24/7.
And I hope you won't think I am stupid, or a bad person, for mentioning this - because I am a relative newbie, on the site: and I know you would do it, anyway. Many of you could devise better ways to express this: and many of you already have. I apologize: I guess I just needed to express my OWN feelings, and hope that we can be there for Blake, as so many wonderful people have already said they would be here, to do.
I am very happy to be back on this site, and back on this board, because there ARE so many people who DO care, so much, anytime a model, a member, a staff person, or anyone we know, is having a difficult time. Obviously, this is one such time: and so (I think) it will do Blake a world of good, to be surrounded by people who love and care about him, for the next little while. There is strength in numbers, and this is a really wonderful group.
