Did Broke Straight Boys hire someone to come in and tell all the new guys the way to make your scene a success is to moan like a banshee!!! What happened to the days where you had the believable moans of pleasure. For some sites you expect that from a scene but it's never really been a Broke Straight Boys thing. Guys enjoy yourselves but pull back on the noise!!! Some people make like the moans but it takes away from the scene for me!!!!!

You are making a very valid point Enchantedlover!

I think you are absolutely right, less is more as they say in the UK. Many of the culprits of really bad noise making are currently not part of the current batch of models but it does seem to be an acceptable practice lately for many who are filming.

I'm reminded of former forumite Ms. K. When I asked her why she watched gay porn, she said it was to see the guys and that in straight porn the screaming of the females was annoying and distracting. She said that in the gay porn on Broke Straight Boys, the sex seemed more natural. I agreed and much prefer the actual sounds of sexual pleasure and not fake noises.

Spot on Mikeyank

All of the above posts are spot on.......I believe one of the forumites posted something a while back about stuffing the underwear or something else in the mouth of one of the performers. These boys aren't little girls have their first hard dick, and its time they stopped sounding like it. Natural sounds yes, make believe NO!

Perhaps the models need to be brought to understand that the people who watch Broke Straight Boys know their porn. We can tell the difference between real reaction and fake. Real reaction is a turn on. Fake is annoying, at best.

Good point. There is a clear difference between a natural spontaneous moan or whimper while getting sucked or fucked as opposed to obvious overacting. Put another way, if a top is fucking an overacting jock, stick his jock in his mouth and keep on fucking!

It kind of makes sense for gay models who have worked on other gay sites beforehand. They think loud and over-the-top histrionics are supposed to be part of the background soundtrack to gay porn. They don't realize when they come over to Broke Straight Boys that part of the niche of the site is that of amateur reality porn. So they still think what's expected of them is to be very vocal in a forced, unnatural way for the sake of the cameras.

I remember when Drake Tyler joined Broke Straight Boys He was an experienced gay model who had worked elsewhere online. In his first batch of scenes here he was heavy into the fake moaning and verbalizing. He was also one of the few Broke Straight Boys models who joined us and posted in the forum. He was a very talented model and was welcomed warmly into the fold by members. In talking about the work he had done so far in his first scenes, one of the posters gently mentioned something to Drake about needing to lower his volume. He seemed genuinely surprised that the audience at Broke Straight Boys really didn't want a lot of fake moaning, screaming and yelling. He thought that was just expected. haha Just like at the other sites he had worked. We kind of told him that while we didn't want to see (hear) silent films per se, that we preferred that the vocals from models on Broke Straight Boys be less loud, more believable, and more organic to the course of the sex itself. He took note of that and genuinely incorporated that advice into his following scenes.

Let's hope Tampa that those models that are on this forum take note and spread the word to those that are not. As I said in an earlier post less is more, especially in the sound department.

Amen to that, MM!
