What is with the volume controls.

For some time now it has become obvious that something is going on with the volume in the interviews and the scenes, as well as on College Boy Physicals as well.
It is usually easy to hear the interviewer or Sha talking to the models just before a scene, but it is always difficult to hear the interviewee responses most of the time and the models almost all of the time. It is next to impossible to hear banter between the models during a scene. Why is there a problem with the mic's! my guess is that they are always close to the interviewer but not the models. Maybe an additional mic can be placed near the models....I suspect the the camera has a built in mic but that really doesn't cut it. I have the scene volume turned up to the max as well as my computer speaker volume, but it doesn't help much.
In most of the older scene's this doesn't seem to be as much of a problem as currently.........Is there anything management can do to fix this problem? I feel like we are missing out on half the enjoyment of these scenes. Can we please get this fixed?

I think this is a very valid point. Many people have complained about not being able to hear or understand the banter between models. Then we have the other problem like Malakai had where he is used to having to yell out so his sex talk and sounds make it onto the cell phone sound track. Which was way over the top for Broke Straight Boys

I agree some kind of better microphone system would be great and the models should be told they don’t need to yell to be heard and maybe it would be better all around. Perhaps it could be a pillow talk microphone near where the models heads will be. Of course this changes with various positions. But it really would be nice to hear what they say while fucking. Sometimes we can tell but often we can’t.

I know nothing about the technical aspects of filming or micing but couldn't they have a boom microphone that one of the crew moves in closer to the models just off camera to pick up the "smack talk" like between Ethan and JJ? And be able to edit the track to mute it when one of the models starts shrieking during the sex?

Well you could do all of those things, boom mic, wireless mics, sound control systems, etc....but the bottom line is the more you have the more it costs, which effects the bottom line and raises costs which get past on to the consumer......I'm sure Mark, Sha and the group are well aware of the issue and will solve it as soon as it is economically feasible....
Personally I think that overall they do a decent job on a limited budget....

We've been here before with this issue. Years ago when Clay was first with us, he was using a camera with a built-in microphone. When he talked to the models and asked them questions during the scenes all you could hear clearly was Clay's voice asking the questions. Hearing the models trying to answer the questions and respond to the comments was much more difficult. Hopefully they are working on it.

I appreciate that also Mark. I was watching the latest scene with Blake and Kace and you could here them pretty good but it could be better. It’s really hot when they say stuff to each other that is natural and not over acting porn screams. Really adds to the scene.

Thanks for looking into this issue. In some scenes, not that big of a deal. But in other scenes, of late particularly Ethan's, the smack talking can be both funny and hot, which makes it frustrating to only be able to hear a small part of it.

For years, I have from time to time complained and discussed the problem I had with hearing dialogue on the videos. But there was never much pickup by forumites. Nor any response from management - which I was hardly surprised at given that I am not among its "most favored nations".

But now it is refreshing that others seem to be having the same issues I have been pointing out and their concerns have finally elicited a response from mgmnt. Now the test will be when and how mgmnt will respond and what the nature of that response will be. But, hey, baby steps, I guess.
