Videoboys

Hello,
Please try again because I just tried 5 movies on Videoboys, and they are all working fine. Maybe they were offline when you tried.

Steve - it's 4:15 pm edt here in the 'burgh. I just tried Videoboys. I clicked on and got the homepage with upcoming and recent updates. When I click on any of the recent movies or try to access other pages, my screen shows in full page form "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". If I click on back arrow, I get back to vidoeboys homepage, but everytime I try to go for a movie or an other page, the same thing happens.

What do you mean when you say maybe they were offline. Remember I'm a computer luddite.

Thanks.

I might have found the answer to my problem. When I click on to videoboys, I click on for it to appear in the same window. So I went back and clicked on the "in a new window" option and it went to videoboys and I can access the movies. I don't know what all that means, but I figured I'd experiment and it worked. Who knew?

i glad that worked for you.
i tried three scenes using both methods and the three worked each time.
sometimes, it's magic.
like i said, glad that worked for you, but i am not sure why that is the only way it worked for you.

I don't know either, another, but it did.

I have no problems here even when I blocked all cookies. I would try some different browsers and see if you have the same issue.

I'm a computer luddite, Mark. I have no idea what cookies are; and by browser, do you mean like Internet Explorer? If so, that's what I've always had. How does one get others?

Cookies helps browsers remember settings on websites, usernames etc. Kind of like when you come back to the forum it remembers who you are. Usually you need cookies on HSBoys because those are feeds we lease. Some feeds are really picky because they want to make sure they are accessing the feed from a legitimate site paying for the feeds so they want cookies enabled.

As for other browsers the most popular one is at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Since I came back from hibernation, I've had problems streaming the content of the bonus sites - no problems with Broke Straight Boys or College Boy Physicals or STJO. The only way around it - and I use a Mac - is to flit between browsers - I go between google chrome and safari. It's a bit of a ball ache but it works

That is strange but I would check your cookie settings on the browser that isn't working.

I too can not open videos in Video boys. When I try to do so, a message appears saying "Internet can not display this page" - disappointing not to be able to view this productions.

Fuck Adobe Flash

Hey John, glad you're back. I recently came back also, and to the same problem. Adobe's shitty Flash seems to be at the root of it all. I installed one of their never ending updates and the problems started. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice. No fix. Steve Jobs hated Flash and made no great efforts to support it on the Apple platforms. Flash is OLD technology that Adobe keeps trying to smash down everyone's throat. One day soon, they'll actually have to come out with a new product besides Flash and the equally dull-witted Reader. I hate Adobe only slightly more than Microsoft!
I also have an Apple, thank the Gods. I think some of the bonus sites are routed through Broke Straight Boys I've found that Flash now works very poorly on Safari, a bit better on Firefox and best on Google. I have little trouble on YouTube or Hulu.
When it offers you a broadband connection, don't pick the 1500/264, which is the top default. Go down one level and try that. That has given me the best results. My system was freezing and then snapping forward, or jerking and then fast forwarding.
MARK, If you have suggestions about how to fix these problems on your site, they would be much appreciated. They are happening on the sites using Flash. I could use FlipforMac, but that's slow and another piece of shit program.
The future of the technology world is heading toward Apple. Make it right for us!!!

Hey Stripe - thanks for the welcome and nice to catch up with you too. Aha you remembered I had a Mac - I eventually got a grip of Mac and wouldn't go back to PC ever. Unfortunately my works systems PCs and admin laptop work are Microsoft and will be using Windows 8 soon. Thanks for the heads up on Flash and the tips you have given me - I shall try it out. Big hugs from the UK x
