Use of new guys

Okay this might make me super unpopular but I believe this site brings on too many new guys too quickly lately forcing me to lose enthusiasm while I wait for the previously introduced new guys to be featured in action with another guy. I used to be super excited about the progression for these guys but it seems cluttered with all these new intros and long waits for action scenes. Just my two cents.

You are most certainly entitled to your opinion Joseph, but after years of introducing only one or two models over several months, and many being "ringers" hired through agencies who've appeared on multiple sites before Broke Straight Boys, I am thrilled with all the newbies and I say, "Bring em on". But again that's only my opinion and I understand and appreciate your perspective as well Joseph. No one's opinion is more important than anyone else's. But I respectfully disagree.

I Agree with all three of you! I had been losing interest over the last year or so due to the infrequent additions of quality new boys (with a couple of exceptions). The site seemed to hit the jackpot with Ashton, which didn't work out. But the recent influx of quality boys recently has rekindled my interest, and although I am impatient to get past all of the masturbation and BTS filler, I am praying it means we will have a long and strong cherry-picking season shortly, followed by a bountiful harvest, followed by a merry and gluttonous feast. Yeah. I'd say things are shaping up well for November and the rest of the holiday season. We should be past the solos and into the really good stuff. Possibly even as early as before the end of the month. I like the influx of new talent.

Please keep in mind Joseph that the interview or Behind The Scenes are free bonus vids. We still get three "sex vids" per week, however with all the newbies, one out of the three can be a jerk off solo. But there are still at least two "boy on boy" sex scenes per week. Introducing the newbies will lead to lot's and lot's of new combinations in the coming weeks and months, and hopefully some will be ultra hot with newbies instead of many of the "same old same" guys over and over.

I personally have no problem with the infusion of new, mostly brand new to porn guys, and more "believably straight" guys than before. But I do understand and respect your point of view Joseph.

I agree with you, Joseph! I am really loving the new guys, but I have the same feeling you describe... I feel we are 'getting to know' a lot of guys but we never get to see them doing what we really wanna see!

I think it is great to bring new guys, but once they are here, I woul like to see their scenes before meeting another bunch of new guys.

I must say that I am enjoying the latest couple weeks of vids. We are getting past the introductions (and solos) of the newbies from the last round of new hires and finally getting into some of the real sex scenes. And again, they're impressive. There're finally some straight or straight-er models to please those of us who long to see the forbidden fruit of straight guys trying gay sex. Even if it is solely motivated by money. haha But that was always the mission statement of the original site over a decade ago.


It isn't always the case that I start looking forward to each new upcoming episode with anticipation like I am now. It's a fun and refreshing time to be doing it once more this month with this latest round of newbies along with some more seasoned (and popular) talent. I'm not completely sure what you're saying Joseph but I do agree with you regarding Jake. He was introduced with a Behind The Scenes on September 29th, followed by his solo on October 3rd. It is now December 15th and we have only seen him in three partnered scenes. I also sure hope that he has a flood of unreleased scenes, as to my mind he is a cut above all the other current models. In fact in my ten plus years as a member of Broke Straight Boys, I find Jake one of the hottest guys ever on the site.

I personally skip over many of the current models and scenes as I have a specific taste in guys in my porn, but when I like someone I am way into them and can't get enough. I may have missed your overall point Joseph, but if you are talking about Jake, I am in complete agreement!

Hi Joseph, like Bart I get you being impatient, I see the next 3 scenes introduces another new model, one of the newer models w/ a veteran and two vets together. .I can think of a number of reasons, we don't always see the newer models introduced proform right away. I have seen two newer models together & the scenes have been awkward.& not entertaining. I have heard of some of the newer models leaving after their solo, never to be heard from. I don't know how many models which they have coming & leaving, but there must be a large number. There was just a complaint recently about a vet model being seen to much, well he was breaking in a large amount of new talent. I personally enjoy the vets, but I get the need for fresh faces.
Since I have been here, I have notice, once new talent is integrated into the rotation, things get a little more settled. Basically the members control, who comes & goes. I don't always agree, with the group but who does. After all unless they are pros, newer younger guys need a calmer vet to get him comfortable to preform. That is my unscientific opinion.

The way it works Joseph is we get three "action" videos a week, either a partnered scene or a naked jerk off and cum shot. Those are released at 10 PM Eastern time Friday, Sunday and Wednesdays.

Any behind the scenes interviews or contests or the like are considered "bonus videos", but we get the three naked action scenes every week regardless of whether we get any bonus stuff or not. I hope this explains what you are asking about.

You definitely have a point. In the old days you met a guys you saw his scenes. I’m not so sure what the right combination is but it does seem like things are dragging along these days. I’m not sure what the answer is.
