I would like to expand on a recent brief comment that was made in another thread...In the Merry Christmas thread, Tyler listed a link to give him a gift if we wanted too. Now one forumite responded thinking it was out of line and another took the position of really not caring one way or the other. I personally think it is a great idea.

My feelings are like this, everyday in our personal lives we tip and gift people for doing things for us thru out the year...we tip for great service to waiters / waitresses, barbers / stylists, mailmen, newspaper delivery , trash haulers, etc....all of these folks in one way or another have served us and at Christmas, some / all of us leave a Thank You tip....So I question, what is the difference between them and the young men on this site who give us service and pleasure thru out a year....we pay for the service of all of the above listed people, whether it's your meal, hair cut, trash removal..So why not someone who serves us in such a personal way, and gives us great pleasure.

Actually I think it would be great if Broke Straight Boys had a thread with links to all models for Birthdays and Christmas, that way any member could give a tip / gift to the model / models of there choice that have served them well thru out the past year....Besides, this is there JOB for the current moment in time...well just my worth on the subject....

I do believe that Mark / Blue Media . Broke Straight Boys should entertain this thought .....

It would be great.
If Broke Straight Boys/BluMedia sets up an account for each model so that he can receive a tip in form of money or an on-line giftcards. Also a PO Box should be given if a fan wants to send a box of gifts.
The tip should go completely to the model and if not then Broke Straight Boys should explain what service fees the company is charging the models for maintaining the accounts and disbursing the funds. [a florida-based live camera boy-house sitewould take a portion of the tip]
Besides in Amsterdam at the rentboy houses it is always good to tip them because some of the models keep a log of best tipping customers and if one becomes a regular then sometimes....

This is a forum for the membership of Broke Straight Boys, if Tyler or any other model wants to beg for money, then they should do it, as they currently do, via their FaceBook page or Twitter account. These guys get paid well for appearing on this site, I would personally prefer to give money to charities than to greedy models.

Well I have to disagree with Ebenezer, I mean Jon who seems to feel that people are suggesting tipping should somehow be obligatory. I do not think the models should have to solicit tips on the groups but I do think it would be fair to allow some manner in which to allow those who wish to do so, to tip the models in a safe manner, ensuring that the tips actually reach the model in question. I have lived in various parts of the world where providing a gratuity to a person who does you a service is acceptable. This has nothing to do with the compensation a model receives for his work from the company nor is it required of the clients to view the videos.

It may however inspire the models to work harder to entertain the viewers here as obviously those models who perform above the required minimum will be receiving extra incentive to do so.

Im confused becuase last time I checked everyone deserves to be treated well on their birthday or what ever holiday it is. If u do not want to help then dont. Dude if u want to stay in the dark do so but u need to stop being so negative toward everything....do I need to buy u a christmas present? Did u not get any this year? I just want to understand why you are so cold and so against models growing and making something out of them selves....I get ur only here for the porn but u must understand THESE Models are ONLY HERE 4 the MONEY....its stated that way in multiple videos so u cant tell me im lying...I thought the idea of this forum was to also chat with the models....if this negative toward anything a model does will prevent any model from writing on the form....its people like you that make me only post on my fb, twitter, instagram. You do not have to love us or even like us but do not tell us what we can, cant do outside the studio. We are all grown and make our own decisions.

Jon....Not sure what the difference is of being tipped at a pride event by there fans or being tipped by there fans from a link that is provided....they are both tips.....not all of us live near a major city that is going to host a pride event....and in no way did I say that every member was required to tip....I just suggested that a link be provided to the models to tip them if we want to....that's all.....no need to get your knickers in a knot.....I'm not suggesting that Parliament pass laws requiring it....Holy Hanna........

If they want to beg for money then they have the F4F affiliated sites which some use - e.g Damien Kyle, or Twitter and FB which all have links to their Amazon wishlists. Of course there is also a models area within this forum which I suppose is a last resort, but don't you think that judging by the number of members quotes to Twitter, FB and other social media, that there is already enough.

Allowing one guy to beg for money on the members pages will be the thin end of the wedge in my opinion. This part of the forum was made for the members to discuss the scenes, the site and the models. And not for models to treat it like a goddamn begging centre.

I am a hairdresser and I work my ass off. ( Not like on Broke Straight Boys ) But I would never ask. I charge accordingly.
So a tip or a gift is given because they are pleased or grateful. And I love and depend on my tips. Maybe I am wrong?

Jon / Johnny, we actually do agree on one major issue, and that is about the models posting on the forum for gifts....That's why in my original statement i stated that Broke Straight Boys should provide a separate thread / link for this...that IF and only if a member wishes to do this they have a link to click on or a different thread to go to to accomplish that.....

Most employees that rely heavily on tips are poorly paid, i.e., wait staff, valet parking attendants, etc. Tips comprise the majority of their income. That is not the case for models on this site.

I'm sure there are members who would like to contribute to the bank accounts of models they have crushes on. I don't understand the attraction to such a gesture, but be that as it may. I'd much rather give money to the ASPCA or WWF. The whole idea of "tips" for porn models making decent money strikes me as a bit on the tacky side.

I can see merit on both sides of this argument. I do believe that models have a short window of opportunity to make money through their adult careers, as you are only young and beautiful for a short period of time, and fans can be fickle as to who is the flavor of the month, and there is always someone newer, younger or more beautiful to capture the imagination of the fans, so I have no problem with models letting us know where we can offer them gifts, if we choose.

However I also can understand where some members feel that this forum belongs to us, the members, to comment and discuss scenes and models, and that this is not place to solicit gifts. But I also agree with Damien that these kind of negative discussions regarding models is the reason why so few post anymore. It is a tricky issue to me.

Ah. I think were giving these models to much of a bad time. Especially Tyler..There young. There working. There doing what they think is alright.
At least they post. I just read DKs post again it was a good post. I am one of the people that don't
think they should Ask on the Forum. But I did enjoy DKs vacation. I got to see Paul. And they did share fun and smiles.When we needed them.
It was a pretty bleak time on the sight so looking at them have fun made me happy. And I would miss both these boy's posting.
.They both manage to keep things hopping..They both like to talk. Right or wrong I don't want to loose them.
So just don't ask for anything on the Forum .Simple.They will find you if they want.

I agree the forum isn't the place to ask for gifts. Like everyone else stated there are other avenues to persue for gifts. I appreciate the models who bust their butts and keep busy on and off the site, but the forum is for commenting not soliciting!! To little johnny since you changed your avatar from Paul, he has moved in with me and he hates you now!!! lol
