Before scene is up. Haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but wanted to start a thread for those who have.

David says “if the members like you” to John. Haha. I think it’s safe to say the members like John considering he’s currently #1 highest rated at the moment. I love his big laugh. So sexy.

Carter did a great job but while John played with Carter's cock with his mouth he did not suck it (I watched that part twice). I gave the scene a 4 based on Carter's part. Also there was no gallery & the zip file was empty.

He did it for JJ, so it seemed like he was more ok with it before. Maybe JJ made him more comfortable. But sometimes you just plow through trauma.

I often skip the blowjob parts so I can't remember if John did it for that other guy he was fucked by.

On second thought, it takes courage to do what he did. I gave the scene a 4 rating but will up my rating of him for his courage,

As paying members, we want to see it all and I think we forget that there is a real person behind that screen. All the models that come to film with our studio, and I am sure it goes with other studios as well, film porn because they are in need of money. Males and Females that do film porn, do it for the money. Regardless of whether they want to identify themselves sexually. Since porn has been discovered and available to the public, we as viewers have certain expectations of what we want to see when watching porn and our favorite "porn model" may it be on 8mm movies, VHS, DVD, and now on the internet and social media.

The reality compared to fantasy has been skewed. The lines between porn and what you see, and what the person is really like have blurred the lines of reality and perception of what you watch and what the person is really like off camera. The models have feelings and most come with emotional baggage although they are here because they need money to survive, most guys that do this, rather not do porn. For many it's very demoralizing, some even get triggered when filming because of past dramas they had in life and this triggers their emotions. While on camera they look like they are enjoying it, after the camera is off, and the lights are shut off, some guys become emotionally upset. For many, filming porn the models fall into deep depression and commit suicide. I hear it all the time in our industry.

So when I read comments from members "bashing" me about not having a model rim, or swallow cum, or bottom or top, or they just did only 1-4 scenes and never saw them again (as a few of the members coined the phrase, "one and done", is because most of the time, these guys are emotionally triggered and don't want to come back. Some do find good jobs and decide filming porn is no longer for them. Some find other studios or filming for social media pays a lot more so they decide not to film Broke Straight Boys or College Boy Physicals any longer. While others age out and gain weight and others pass away.

As a studio, we are one of the kinder & most understanding studios filming porn today. We respect the model's wishes and we understand and sympathize with models that have past dramas in their sexual lives or have a certain level of emotional issues. In many cases, these guys are doing things on camera that they have never done in their real life. We don't force them to do anything they choose not to do and we do our best to respect their limits. Some guys come here, they are super cool, and very open-minded and will try it, while others place limitations and we have to respect those limitations. I think many members that watch Broke Straight Boys or College Boy Physicals or other porn from other studios forget these issues. For some boys, it's a work in progress, while other boys have started their "porn career" at other studios that demoralized them and treated them like shit so they come to us with an emotional wall, and limitations because they had a horrible situation at another studio.

We have been filming porn since 2001, and we have had so many boys come and go over the many years. All individual guys that arrive have a different story and mentality when filming and because of so many different guys with different emotions and experiences, it becomes a potluck of what is going to happen the week of production. Some guys don't get along off-camera and there is a lot of tension between the two. As a director, I have to be their mother & father, their therapist at times, I do a lot of hand-holding and coach them so they can be in the right mindset before we even start filming. For me, it's mentally draining because I have to be aware of all the guys and their emotions. This will determine what the outcome of each scene is going to be.

I write this post so that when you're watching a particular scene or a particular guy, just don't be so quick to judge if it doesn't meet your personal expectations for that update and remember the reality of what may be going on inside that particular guy's mind and take into account what the reality is when filming and hopefully this post will clarify and make us all think twice before we give a bad rating or a negative comment.

Thank you for taking the time to explain, it was very educational . The more we the members learn the better it is for us and you.

I'm going to be a slight devil's advocate here, and say that as buyers of a product, we should be allowed to complain when we find the product not up to our standards. However, I do try to keep in mind the mental state of the performers. I try to think of them (and everyone I encounter) as people first, whether here or some customer service agent on the phone. We all fail at this at times.

As someone who suffers from PTSD-like symptoms, I can understand sometimes you can get past a traumatic event for a moment and have it seem fine. If this is what happened with John re: giving oral, I neither applaud him nor condemn him. What I do feel is anger that someone could hurt a child like that*, and anger at our system that someone who is "broke" probably can't afford to get the mental healthcare he needs.

I could not agree with you more.

Everyone has the right to voice their opinions....but we are not dealing with a "product" we are dealing with human lives. I respect what you wrote, and understand your viewpoint. My posting is not going to deter members for not voicing their opinions about a particular model or a scene. However, the purpose of posting what I wrote, I want others to remember each week when we have a different group of guys and a mixture of new guys and return guys, although we just deal with four guys each production week. We as a studio and a business need to respect human relationships and respect the models that come here to film. Once the group of models arrive, we don't know what will happen for that week how each of the guys is going to act and treat each other, and how comfortable they are going to be in front of the camera. The models when they arrive have all the best intentions but some realize they bite off more than they chew. Most guys think of the money they can earn without thinking this through. When they arrive, they realize what they got themselves into. Some can handle it, some can't. So please don't blame the director or the studio because a certain model doesn't suck dick properly, or doesn't rim, or doesn't take a load in their ass or swallow cum. This is not a gay or straight or bisexual issue, this is a personal choice of what each model is willing to do or not and how comfortable they are doing this on camera or in their personal lives. This isn't a one-size fit scenario, each model, each week has its challenges.

We filmed Broke Straight Boys two weeks ago. It just happens that group didn't mind rimming, sucking dick, swapping cum and breeding. The four guys performed really well and did what I directed them to do without any issues or hesitation. For those members that want to see this type of action, those scenes are coming soon. However, I guarantee once those scenes are going to go up, we are going to hear complaints from the other members claiming that these guys are all gay because straight guys or believably straight guys would not do this type of gay sex. So I am waiting for those comments as well. However, there are going to be updated episodes that are going to be boring and vanilla, and some are going to be raunchy and nasty, which is all pending on the type of guys we get that week for production.

As the saying goes you can't satisfy everyone all the time but you must please everyone some of the time, which Broke Straight Boys does and which is why I have been a member from the beginning.

I appreciate that the studio cares for the models. That is what any good employer does, and I have no reason to believe Broke Straight Boys is a poor employer.

I'm going to be a little pedantic here. The product I am referring to is the film. Money is exchanged for access to the films. It's no less of a product because actual human beings perform sex acts in those films than actors speaking dialogue or performing stunts. Calling the output of the models' performance their product does not minimize their value as human beings nor the experiences that have brought them to the point where they are creating their product.

I gave John giving head higher marks as I really liked his use of tongue going up and down the shaft of Carter's cock and have to assume that the hard on was getting equal tongue action when inside John's mouth. You do have a point about John not wrapping his lips around the boner and applying suction, but he is getting better!

I hope you read the whole tread.

In my opinion some of the best gay porn is when two 18-22 year olds are paired in the period of life when young males have "THE LOOK" as they transition from boys to men, and this scene had that with 21 year old, 5'7", 130 lbs. John (plus his handsome face and hot little ass) and 22 year old, 5'10", 150 lbs. Carter. As Carter put it to John annally, he orally blurted out: "Hell yeah, good boy!" Plus nice big loads from both! Loved this very hot scene!

This has been a very interesting discussion on this thread regarding the young men who film porn on Broke Straight Boys I fully understand that they are vulnerable young men who often film out of desperation and how some discover that the reality of filming gay porn may not meet their prior expectations. I also want to state that I have been among David’s biggest fans and would often longingly mention him on this forum during the period when he was absent from the director‘s chair. I love David’s style and sense of humor and I know how paternal David and Eddie are to the boys who live in their home during shoot weeks, and how they are often fed better meals at their home than they eat while at their own homes.

However I also want to agree with Treb that we as consumers of the product that we purchase here do have the right to offer our opinions of the performers. My feeling is that porn performers are going into a public arena, albeit on a Private subscription site, but they are still entertainers and we all have our favorites and those we do not enjoy as much, or at all. I fully recognize that it is plain wrong to criticize the physical appearance of any model, but to say that one isn’t our type, or to mention that some have erection issues or even to comment that some are not skilled at giving head, are all subject’s appropriate for discussion here, in my opinion.

And if we give high ratings to all models on the site, what is the point of having a rating system at all? Additionally as David mentioned that most gay men have a sense of “gaydar”, and if I mention that a model does not fit my fantasy of being “believably straight” , I think that is an appropriate subject for discussion on this forum as well.

Again, no one should be abusive or hurtful to any model but gentle criticism as is effusive praise are both appropriate on this forum as well. David is my favorite Broke Straight Boys director ever and I am sorry that we only hear from him before and after scenes in the current filming arrangement. In my opinion Broke Straight Boys never would have reached the heights that it did without him. I just wanted to offer my perspective to this most interesting conversation.

Hi Mike...I appreciate everything you wrote and what everyone wrote in this thread. I am not indicating anything about rating a model or expressing their opinions about a specific model or scene. Everyone's views are important to us as well as the ratings, however, the main point of my posting was that these guys are NOT professionals. Just like athletes, actors comedians, singers, and entertainers, they had years of perfecting their craft. Professional entertainers & athletes have had years to perfect their style and what works for them and what doesn't work. They too have limitations to what they can do.

Most guys regardless if they are on Broke Straight Boys or College Boy Physicals or any porn site, are not professional entertainers. Many "porn stars" throughout the history of porn have perfected their skills because they have been doing this for years and they have perfected there craft, and they too have limitations to what they are willing to do on camera.

We don't deal with 'professional porn stars" that have perfected their craft over the years. We either get guys that only filmed for one or two studios, or they start with our studio first and move to another studio. Most of the guys we film are new and raw in the sense they don't have the luxury of perfecting their craft. Many boys that arrive, only think of the money first. Yes, we do our interview and we tell them the expectations for a production week, but I guess what happens is that when they arrive, they realize that they bite off more than they can chew and if they don't feel comfortable doing certain things on camera we have to respect those requests.

We ask the guys all the time what they are willing to do and feel comfortable doing. When we interview a model and they tell us during the interview that they don't rim, or swallow cum and they don't do this in their private lives, why would they do this on camera? During the interview process, if they put up walls and limitations, then it's up to us to hire them. The interview process is two steps. One is with me and the 2nd with the establishment, where the establishment has the final approval to hire that model or not. We do our best to hire the guys with the most open-minded attitude or willing to try new sexual things. We understand that we not hiring professional porn guys that are established and well-seasoned in their craft.

What makes Broke Straight Boys unique and stands us apart from the other porn studios is that we do our best to hire "believably straight boys" or "straight boys" or "bisexual guys leaning towards being straight". This type of model is more valuable to our studio and for Broke Straight Boys site, than a "professional porn star". Many guys that apply to Broke Straight Boys are over-exposed, film for all the larger professional porn studios, and have a huge following on social media, normally want $$$$$$ to film for a studio. Although many of these guys are good-looking and willing to do everything on camera for lots of $$$$$$, are not valuable to Broke Straight Boys Hiring a professional top-notch model for Broke Straight Boys is not valuable for the brand, for us they devalued themselves by over-exposing themselves and that is why we do our best to hire models that have very little to no porn experience.

Since they have limited experience, we have to work harder to convince them to film based on the needs of the membership but at the same time respecting their limitations, and in some scenes, it's going to show that perhaps a model didn't rim or swallow cum, or doesn't give the best blowjobs or they are not great kissers. perhaps they don't get an erection immediately and it takes a bit for them to get hard.

Then we have to deal with the emotional issues these guys bring to the set and their past background some get triggered and once triggered, it mentally screws them up during their film week so we have to be their therapist. Some overcome their issues and by doing this gets them out of their shells so each guy coming here has a different mindset that we have to deal with each production week. While some overcome this, others don't want to return and do porn again. We have no clue what is going to happen and how a model is going to react once they actually get in front of the lights and camera because they are NOT professionals and that is my point on the subject.

Everyone is free to judge, make opinions, and rate whatever you guys want to do. I just posted just a few things to think about when making a certain comment and have an understanding of why some guys don't rim, swallow cum or have difficulty staying hard. If certain members want to continue bashing me or making horrible comments about the scene or a model, that is cool with me, they are entitled to that being a member, I am just giving some thoughts about the scenes and the different models.

I am glad you expressed your views & I can agree with some of what you have said but not all of it. As like all of us you have your own biases and that affects your views.. Also to get a proper opinion of this or any porno site takes a knowledgeable independent party..
