Hello all, especially my friend Jon,

I just got back from a fun night at the Denver Coliseum where my boys and I watched a taping of The X Factor! The audience was the biggest they've had, 10,000+ in attendance. It was a whole lot of fun! Simon was mostly nice He did escort one contestant off stage, she was too bad to be believed, and I think he just felt sorry for her. I'm going to become an X Factor fan, I think. I've never watched the US show, and only the clips Jon posts of the UK version. I need to see if I made it onto TV! We were up pretty high, so I'm sure it's not happening. Even so, I'm so glad we got the chance to go. It was a blast!

I had fantasies about being among the talent Alas, we only watched. I'd be terrified! I can sing... But I'm too old for that nonsense

The X Factor UK normally starts in August, but this year there was a big shortage of Groups so the judges made a short Youtube video requesting more Groups apply.

I've watched the programme since the beginning but nowadays it's getting pretty tedious. It's so predictable that you virtually know what will happen next. This year Sharon Osbourne is replacing Tulisa which is a big shame.
