This is a note of thanks to the many members that I have had the chance to chat with and to the many who have replied with positive responses to my posts. I have been a member of Broke Straight Boys dating all the way back to the early years when David did the scenes. I loved that particular format of him working the guys from solo scenes up through doing it all and negotiating, real or imagined, for payment to perform. To me that was a lot of fun and recently I have gone back and watched many of those scenes with fond memories.
When the format changed and various new directors came on board, I found that I did not enjoy it as much. But, held in there until now. I guess it seems to me that each scene is more of the same over and over. Sha seems like a really nice guy and does so much with the models. But, his efforts fall short for my tastes. That is why I have not been active on the forum for a long time.
I may be back. But, for a while I am taking a break from Broke Straight Boys It has nothing to do with the company or anyone in it. I am sure Mark tries very hard to put up the best product he possibly can. But, it no longer interests me like it use to. I can remember really looking forward to each new release. Now, I find I will sometimes skip a week or more before checking out the newest additions and even then I usually fast forward through them.
So, agiain, thank to everyone at Broke Straight Boys who has responded to any problems or questions I had. Thank you to the rest of the staff and to the models that have made this site so popular. I wish you all only the best. Perhaps, we'll see u down the road. Sorry to leave.

So long chase3398. I must say, this is one of the most respectfully written departure posts I've ever read on this forum in the years I've been a member.

I have so much respect for the way you've expressed your reasons for leaving. Not to make this about me but to identify, I once belonged to a Twink site for many years. I saw what I liked and could not seem to get enough! I stayed for a long time. Over time, the scenes weren't affecting me the way the once did. The models and the site weren't necessarily the issue for me, I realized (even with the changes the site had made, many good) my tastes actually changed too! I didn't seem as turned on by twinks as much anymore.

While this may not be the case with you, I can relate to making a decision to seek what it is that brings me enjoyment even if it means doing so with a heavy heart. (not that dramatic but....) things change....we change. It's more about knowing and accepting that....even if it's just porn...

You and I have been on the same journey Chase since way back in David's day and the truth is I agree with you 100% about the change in the porn and I too used to "really looking forward to each new release" but now I also often skip weeks of updates before viewing one. However unlike you I am too vested in this site and particularly the forum, so much like in Brokeback Mountain, I say Broke Straight Boys I can't quit you!!! lol

But I completely understand your feelings about the porn here now Chase. Good luck to you and hopefully you will return at some point!

We all need a break from time to time. I did the same thing last year but eventually came back. I have not been as active since I returned, but I do like to keep in touch with the others.

I totally understand your feelings and your reasons Chase. It saddens me that you are leaving, even if it may turn out to be for only a little while. I have many fond memories of previous forum interactions with you over the years. It seems to me that they were always very pleasant and full of mutual respect. If these are to be our last communications and interactions here in the forum, please know that I will always wish you the best in life. I think you'll forgive me for holding out hope that will return to us at a later time.
