I can only imagine how difficult it is for you to translate from Arabic to English. I really commend you for participating in the forum even though English is not your first language. Please keep posting and sharing your thoughts with us. Indeed there are other sites out there as you and I have seen. However Broke Straight Boys is one the very best.

Mark and his staff do work very hard to give us a high quality site. Even though some of us may nitpick at times about the things on the site we don't like, there is obviously a whole lot more here to like and be grateful for as a member. Otherwise we wouldn't still be here. I've never known of any site that tries as hard as the wonderful people at Broke Straight Boys do to constantly upgrade, improve and stay relevant with the modern times. Please know that we recognize and appreciate all your efforts on our behalf and we respect you as human beings.

Ok I hate sounding creepy BUT sometimes I get all emotional and this is such a time. I've been a member of another site - a european one, for over a month and joined the forum, only to be greeted with so much hostility because I was an outsider so to speak. Then the site decided to cut their films down from their advertised 6 or 7 a week to 3, so I have now cancelled my membership.

The Broke Straight Boys forum is a major reason for me having continuous membership of this site. Sure I took a sabatical during Broke Straight Boys 2.5 but I have my own reasons for that. What I did miss during that period was the banter, both friendly and sometimes not so friendly, but WTF we cannot please everyone all of the time.

In addition to the forum there is also the many bonus sites on HSBoys and of course the high quality films that Broke Straight Boys themselves produce. There have been questions raised about whether or not Broke Straight Boys is moving away from it's original ethos but, as per the bareback issue, the site has to move on and be competitive in this vast gay porn market. Even with this slight change I still find that there are films for all out tastes and long may they continue.

I know it does go against the grain for men raised in Britain in particular to admit to feeling emotions Jon. Thank you for sharing that story. I'm sorry you found your arrival on another site's forum as a newbie to be greeted with such coldness or hostility. It sounds like they are a very cliquish lot. Sucks to be them. lol

For all the bitching and moaning we may sometimes do here over certain scenes or models, the truth is that deep down we are still here because we know we have it pretty good. At risk of sounding like a commercial... I mean let's face it. We've got it made here. Not the least of which is because of the forum and all the wonderful people in it. The price is reasonable for those of us living on tight budgets. The mgmt and staff of the site are attentive, available and really care about delivering quality and pleasing the paying members. Between the archives, the regular updates including BTS and the bonus sites...there's always entertainment nearby.

I think one of the bigger lessons here for those of us in the forum is just to continue to embrace and be kind the new people. Make them feel welcome, respected and free to share whatever they would like with us. I guess we've kind of taken for granted that that was the norm everywhere since that's pretty much what we've always had here.

I agree 100% Tampa about being open and inviting to newbies all the time. It's a shame that so many appear here and seem to fit right in, but soon disappear.

As I've stated many times, I am currently a member of Broke Straight Boys primarily for the forum, and I wish we had more fresh voices join in and remain as regular contributors.
