@dande01 @Jaybifla I think that Chris being "in pain" or "not so excited" about bottoming is what gives the scene a "Broke
Straight Boys" appeal like the days of
Broke Straight Boys 1.0, so once in awhile, it's cool to have him bottom—I like that. Some members want to see that—an actual straight boy having a bit of a hard time having gay sex on cam. (Some members actually unsubscribed because they felt it was all too gay, so it's good to have that balance.)
As for the tone of the comments, I, for one, am
always polite and tactful in the way I phrase my thoughts, so if there are any rude comments, they certainly aren't from me.
As for the camera angles, I think that my position is quite reasonable. I'm not a pro cameraman, filmmaker or adult model, but as porn enthusiast of thirty years, I know what may appeal to viewers. There are different types of angles: top, bottom, front, back and side. An ideal scene will at least feature top, front, back and side view angles. The idea is to showcase the action, the models' faces, reaction, but also their various body parts. After all, porn is not just the sex act but also a
graphic visual celebration of the human body.
I know that the camera can't remain stuck on their backside for five minutes straight, and I never demanded that. Scenes are on average 20 minutes long. Just twenty seconds of real good backside shot (buttocks shown in full) out of twenty minutes is fairly reasonable, and I've never seen any member on here complain about such angle. I see no problem w/ including some of that in every scene. Same thing for feet. Not everybody's into that, but fifteen seconds (of well filmed soles) out of fifteen+ minutes is not going to indispose any member. That's par for the course, and the minimum, really. I'm totally satisfied with a good minimum. After viewing the scene in full, I can download the scene and view those ten or fifteen
seconds in a loop (on VLC media player).
Same thing for those of wanna see pits, pecs, etc. I understand that the position of the models, the bed, etc., can make it a bit more complicated sometimes. I'm just giving some feedback here.
I can show you videos from various models and studios (Joel Someone, Nate Stetson, Manuel Skye, Mateo Muscle, Raw Alpha Males, Cole Connor, Ethan Chase,
Men.com,
Sean Cody.com, and so forth) that have lots of scenes that focus on such angles for
a lot longer, and the scenes still show plenty of other things.
My only complaint is when most of the scene is filmed from the side; that tends to bore me and I may even fall asleep. Of course, members will comment on the angles 'cause that's literally what the viewers see! The lens of the camera is the eyes of the viewers; we can't see anything else but what is presented to us.
All in all, I think that a little bit of everything can be included in most scenes. I'm not much into socks or shoes, but I know that some people dig that, so I'm okay w/ scenes of other studios sometimes feat. that. And I had no problem w/ Brock's verbal commands at all! It's fantasy! And I just loved Dr. Knox and was appalled by the abuse he received. And I love diversity, new things and elements. So I am far from being "egocentric."
