According to post 2016 election analysis, it was estimated that trump got about 12% of the gay vote. God only knows what will happen in November. One would like to think gays would remember everything trump has done to marginalize the lgbt community and vote in smaller numbers for him. There shouldn't be one vote cast for him by any member of the lgbt community, imo.

But remember what happened with W. In 2000 it was estimated that Bush got about 18% of the gay vote. Then in 2004 after a campaign where he vocally opposed marriage equality, and Karl Rove engineered constitutional amendments on to the ballots in 10 battleground states to ban marriage equality thereby assuring a large turn out of anti-marriage equality voters, it is estimated that Bush increased the size of his gay vote to about 23%. Go figure!!

As I wrote then and will repeat here, "As Pogo said, 'We have met the enemy and it is us'".

Admittedly trump's sins have been more egregious against us, so I can only hope lgbt voters remember and vote for Biden.
