Hey everybody!!!

The queen mother is back. Sorry we were gone so long, but we were busy, we promise you. So? What did we miss? YOU! That's right, we missed each and every one of you.

Short version: Mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2011. Finally succumbed from metastatic complications on May 17, 2012. Funeral was last Wed. and has taken us since then to discover our subscription to Broke Straight Boys expired. (Please ignore comments on facebook site). In any event, we are looking to hook up with the wonderful denizens of Forumland, and are eager to hear all the juicy news that is fit to be shared, (or tied) Tee Hee!

Markymark, I am so sorry to hear about your mother, but I am thankful that you got to be with her through her terrible illness. I am also, so happy that you are back with us. You were missed, my friend.
 
I'm so sorry to hear about your mother Marky Mark. I am however very happy to have you back with us.
 
Nice to see you back Mark, sorry about your mum. Seems as if a lot of the "old timers" are returning. I'm sure I saw Slim logged on yesterday.

I too offer my deepest condolences to you on the loss of your mother. And I too welcome your back to the site. I consider you one of the Founding Fathers of this forum. if there were a Mount Rushmore of forumites, the busts would be of you, Jayman, Slimvintage & Tampa. (I hope I haven't forgotten anyone. I was a lurker for the first year or so, reading and not posting).

Thank you for all the kind sentiments. It is clear that the residents of forumland understand the concept that "family is what you make it", and it is wonderful to be back home with my family. God Bless you all!
