True story:
One of my vendors, a software company in the Valley, started sending out a company news letter to their customers about 8 years ago. They would include some 'fun fave links' and one was to a story on theonion.com, some nerdy humor item on the front page. They sent it out on a Tuesday night not realizing that theonion published on Wednesdays and their link was to the current issue, not the specific story. Instead of some geeky parody, customers were directed to this:

To this day, theonion is blocked at their firewall.
