Sad news! To my mind, he was the best governor in the modern era of New York politics. And his son isn't doing badly either!

Don't like Andrew that much but Mario was the best governor NY ever had I'll miss him a lot.

I agree, I do not remember much about Mario, other than bits and pieces of some of his speeches but I love what his son is doing for upstate New York where I go to school.

He was quite an eloquent speaker! Andrew has also done well in my opinion. Quite a legacy he leaves (Mario) and from humble beginnings.

Yep I never heard a bad thing ever said way over here on the west coast about Mario. Sad day for New Yorkers!!!

Eloquent man, great statesman, and I am sorry for his family, and all New Yorkers, about his loss. He did great good in his life, which is all any of us can hope to do - - - and rather better than most politicians ;-)
