The marketing slant... (these are marketing estimates) the largest age demographic of Americans is from the baby boomer era, so 50-68 years old. The largest demographic of who is watching the most porn (or gay porn) would be folks from 45-70 or so... the largest demographic of viewers that are willing to PAY for good porn would be in all these groups. Also, gay guys are part of the demographic that has the most disposable income (DINK).
As a member in all of the above demographics, I think shaved pubes look just wrong... like one of those Sphynx cats with no hair... they just look weird and wrong.
