Powerful speech that needs to be applied to Human Dignity.
No ethnicity or race has a corner on committing cruelty against its own ethnic peoples or against its own racial group - note that these can overlap.
It just so happens that in the modern age from the globalizations advent with Columbus for Spain and DaGama for Portugal in the 1490s and early 1500s.
The need for cheap and interchangeable labour at first fell on the poor landless urban & rural White Europeans who went to colonies as indentured servants and were often worked to death.
The native peoples of conquered/colonized lands were enslaved by the Europeans who immediately tagged the natives as non-White and subhuman and inferior savages as compared to themselves (White + purity of blood - limpieza de sangre + born with superior intelligence and culture and language and beliefs-Christianity) and then on imported Africans.
The habit of mistreating people of African descent and native peoples and then non-Whites (usually the mixed race children of the White European colonists with native women or enslaved African women) and dark-skinned people (usually pure Indios and pure Africans) started in these early colonial times with the Spanish and Portuguese Casta system. France, the Netherlands, Italy, England all had racist social hierarchies that they plugged into their colonies as the normal and correct and science-based way to treat the non-Whites of their colonies and this habit continues today in different forms but it remains present.
