Sitting in my comfortable old blue chair and eating Pad Thai watching some sappy musical on TV and... By the way, this is by choice, I've gotten invited, but I haven't been out on New Year's Eve for years. Now if I had someone to "hold me good and tight" and "to kiss at twelve o'clock that night" it might be different. But I am content. HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GREAT YEAR!

Had a great New Year's Eve. First watched "The Deathly Hallows" first, then made Mimosas (they're not just for brunch) and went next door to my neighbor, her daughter, and her gorgeous 22yo son. We sat on the front lawn watching the fireworks and toasting the New Year. Today I am resting. It is a cold rainy day, perfect to finish off the Mimosas and a nice nap!
