New Year's Eve Plans?

Anyone doing anything "SPECIAL", or in MY case 'special' for New Year's Eve? Let's hear about it! Mine (as of now) is getting to watch REGIS(OH JOY!!)-SORRY for all you Regis lovers-but (for me)he just is NOT the same as Dick Clark. He took over/slipped into that slot WAY TOO easily! Per my understanding, with ONE WORD from Regis, Kelly had her NEW spot in Regis and Kelly, Kathy Lee was off!) (As well does not have the charisma/persona that Dick did, meaning, Was Regis ever running Bandstand, AT40, or ANYTHING to do with music? I DON'T THINK SO!

I won't make this JUST a "Regis bash' of sorts, but Ryan Seacrest 'sorta fell into the spotlight' very quickly, just as well, Slipping into Dick's spot!

Okay... I THINK I am through! LOL..

I have not finalized my plans yet. I will most likely work and apply for more jobs. Who knows I may be getting ready to start work on my doctorate next year. I have wanted to do that but the whole student loan thing at this time in life with jobs being so scarse is a little crazy. That seems to always be one of those days I take it as it comes. I just plan the sourkrout and porkchops with mashed taters thing I also burn a bayberry candle. Those things are traditional.

It's not the same a it used to be, I just have few friends for dinner over light a fire few glasses of wine and that's it. New Year's Day is taking down the tree and getting ready for another wild new year at work

I'll probably lay low this year, just hang with the kids, open some wine, watch movies. I'm not in a party mood lately. On New Year's Day, I'll be in the kitchen fixing cabbage rolls, which I do every year. Can't wait!

I don't know where you got the picture, but that is me in the lower left corner with my mouth wide open hoping to get a taste, though unsuccessful. I was glad later on to find out it was only "cold milk" and not anything more memorable, at least. Thank God I was taught at an early age not to cry over spilled milk! That is how I look at 2010 as well.

For 2011, my New Year's Resolution is..."when the sirens are about to sound and the champagne cork(figuratively speaking) is almost about to pop, I will indeed step forward in direct line of fire of your edged explosion so that my portion of the much anticipated warm coating will last at least an entire year, namely 2011"!

Regardless of what cums my way, for 2011 I extend to you and all of your forum fans the following:

Must be a comercial I haven't seen yet. I have used that phrase since my Marine Corps days. As well as, "it works for me." Sometimes the less said the more it means in general. I also use "that's banging" too. I guess my response depends on my mood and amount of time I have to post.

Besides I could never work at McDonalds or any other garbage food resturant. I really struggle to find something on their menu that is actually health worthy. I understand that they cannot feed the masses though with out serving processed foods that have a lot of adatives and fillers to keep it affordable.
