Is it just my pc or has the Members Favorites section been revised without using the members' ratings of an episode as the determining factor. If so, why the change and how are members favorites decided if not by members voting ratings?

Just as an aside, I notice someone who is a fan of alliteration has planned the next two episodes, i.e. Denver & Darren; Jake & Jimmy.

We are working on making the top favorites more accurate. The problem is all the older episodes hold a lot more weight and votes over the years. We added a weight variable that should help a bit.

That makes sense that the older scenes hold more weight. Especially with new members joining who are just discovering all the scenes from years back. I really enjoy the new models Broke Straight Boys have, but there are some models from the older scenes who I really miss seeing on a bi-weekly basis. " Tank Shane", Cousins Anthony & MIkey and a few more.

I have to say i was pretty confused by the change in the favorites! but now that i know its weighted differently i can accept that Jason and Mick are at the time because that is one SMOKING scene! Also i am excited to see what Darren can do with the hot Denver! I'm hoping for a sexy 5 star scene!

Thanks for the info, Mark, and what a great idea. This goes back to the thread I started a few months ago about how the favorites are determined and we got into the thousandth of a percent. Adding a weight variable sounds as if it will provide for a much more varied favorites page and one which will feature more of the bsb2'ers.

And this my fellow forumites, is just one of the reasons I love Broke Straight Boys The owner and mgment team are always looking for ways to improve the site and make it more member friendly and attractive to would-be members. Mark, if I get to the point of having to cut back on the porn site part of my limited disposble income, Broke Straight Boys would be the absolute last one to go. But before that would happen I think I'd go begging on street corners!!!

I'm with you Stowe, even if I have to get my husband a second job, the porn stays! Or better yet, if I can talk Jason into moving to Dallas instead of Austin, I could "rent him a room." I am so happy that this is being looked into. I personally am sick of swing the same old ass scenes always on the top keep in mind I can see why but I hope there is a constant effort to cycle them to keep everyone happy.
