I rarely skip a scene under the rubric that I pay dues so I should watch. And I've followed this for a long time with few exceptions. Having said that, recently I've been having more exceptions than I would like. Sometime I'll watch a bit until I begin retching then I stop. With this one, I had really no interest. So I did something I again rarely do and that is I read the scene thread before watching the scene. And when I see the same reaction from people I respect, then I know not to bother. So I didn't even begin to watch it; so I thank you guys for saving me from a retching incident - lol !!!

As you know Stowe, I do not even begin to watch scenes that I am not at all interested in, as was the case here. I just checked and see that the current rating is 4.03. Apparently not many members, forumites or otherwise were impressed by this pairing.

I expected a horrible scene. And I'm not saying that those of you who didn't like it are wrong. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the scene. I'm a bit of a sucker for the throwback longer hair of the 70's and 80's. Especially the feathered hair look. I wish it would come back. I know... You can boo, hiss and throw spitballs at me. haha But I'm much less fond of Max's shaved, semi crew cut hair than Bruno's longer hair.
I was surprised this scene didn't get much love in the ratings and reviews. But then again even I can't say that it was 5 star material either. Especially so in hindsight since Jos Alvarez and Sky ruined the grading curve recently. haha I think it's fair to say that neither Max or Bruno are all that butch or straight. But I actually think they did well with what they were given to work with here.
