This you tube video may make me seem "pervy", but I guess I am. I came across this compilation of highlights from my favorite TV show back in 1964, Flipper. While the dolphin was adorable, and the younger brother with freckles and a sunburned face was a cute little kid, I had a major crush on older brother Luke or Sandy on the show.

I'm not sure what Luke's age was when the series was shot, but he sure induced boners in my 14 year old underpants at the time. So for any Luke fans among the older member's of the forum to reminisce, or as an introduction to the younger folks out there, with no further ado......Sandy or Luke Halpin from Flipper.

Mikeyank,

I was around 13 when Dr. Kildare was a sensation on his hit 1961 TV series (and in my boner-prone pants). If frequently-flyer miles had been created for boners, I could have had my college years through my graduate degree paid for. In 1961 I even had the fashion sense of owning a fashion essential of the day, the "Dr. Kildare doctor's shirt". And, to head off anyone's curiosity, no I did not pursue a career in medicine resulting from this show.

It has only been is recent years that Richard Chamberlain has admitted to being gay. "Gay" was not in the regular parlance of the day or of a 13 year old in the early 60's. Only the word "queer" had any significance and much usage back then on most playgrounds or school hallways.

Anyway, here is clip of Dr. Kildare/Richard Chamberlain from his 1961 hit series:

PS I liked anybody shirtless back then including Luke Halpin. It was a simpler time!

Oh my gawd! Call me pervy if you like.

I thought early TV was invented to generate leakage in my southern regions. I think no erection would be complete without mentioning the first T.V. series of Kotter where John Travolta played a "Wart hog." Also let that be your reminder that youthful beauty does not last long . . .

Barbarino

John Travolta played, Barbarino the "sweathog", a stereotypical Italian kid from Brooklyn. He actually played a very similar role as Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever, and he was in his physical prime in those roles at that time. He was a total hottie, back in the day.:001_tt2:

Several observations:

I didn't realize it at the time, but occasionally, they let some underwear show above the waistband of those jean shorts, and being a child in the sixties, I know they were tighty-whities, my favorite. Of course, being briefs, they also accentuated the kibbles and bits.

Did anyone else who watched the youtube clip realize that it was a very young Charlie Sheen in the blue and white striped shirt?

I masturbated over Luke Halpin then and some things haven't changed as I watch this clip.

I didn't realize until just now that there was a dolphin on that show.

Never got into Dr. Kildare, but a couple more of my boyhood crushes have since come out of the closet: Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser) and Danny Pintauro, the boy on Who's the Boss.

Hummmm, right! Physical prime is what you would call it. Ooooh shit! It was the Levis on Barbarino's flawless body that drove me to distraction. Somehow, my penis survived all that constant tension . . .
