Insomnia tonight and have been flipping stations, came across Bill and Teds adventure circa 1991. It is amazing the resemblence between these two. And the character Keanu plays and my secret boyfriend Cousin Anthony's personalities are identical. I used to laugh when David called Anthony Keanu, but Anthony is the closest we'll ever picture Keanu sucking dick and getting fucked. Go back to the earlier scenes with Anthony and you will concur my friends.
 
I totally agree peter! I always thought Anthony held that resemblance. It's one reason I always liked Anthony. He was such a good bottom. I think he was actually the first power bottom on BSB1. He also did an episode on BFT, and I think on College Boy Physicals as well.

Don’t give up just yet Peter! There are many rumors floating around over the years that question if Keanu might be Gay. One such rumor revolved around a movie he did with River Phoenix but the title escapes me right now.

Oh, and I have heard on good authority, that Keanu is gay, well, at least bi. Gay would be more likely to mean he embraces a gay life style, and that is not the case. I have ALWAYS loved Keanu. He is someone I could be faithful with! I think! lol

The name of the film is MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO. The film was released in 1991 and starred River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves. The film was directed by Gus Van Sant who went on to give us GOOD WILL HUNTING along with the emergence of the Affleck brothers (Ben and Casey), Matt Damon and won an Oscar for Robin Williams (Best Supporting Actor). Matt Damon and Ben Affleck won an Oscar for screen writing. Gus Van Sant was nominated for Best Director for the film.

MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO is a great little film loosely based upon Shakespeare's HENRY IV Parts 1 and 2. It is the story of young Prince Hal who is partying his time away before he must take up the mantle of responsibility in his powerful family. It has a great sound track and some amazing cinematic visions.

It also features a screen credit which says "additional dialogue by William Shakespeare." Chunks of the dialogue were lifted directly from Shakespeare's plays. The character of "Prince Hal" is one of the Bard's more interesting portraits found in his history plays.

Both films are definately worth a view.

Didn't they both play male prostitutes in this film? I remember River's character falling for Keanu's.

Yes, both Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix play male prostitutes on the streets in Portland, Oregon. River Phoenix's character is into Keanu Reeves' character; but Reeves is pretty much into himself. Gus Van Sant uses his gay sensibility to come up with a reworking of the HENRY IV plot. Prince Hal (Keanu Reeves) is quite a charmer.
