So tonights update is of Kayden Winters. As I was working last night, I came across a blog that showed that Kayden had two scenes coming up on another website that we do not own. I immediately contacted the model and he told me that a week after he left us, he went to film with this other studio. This means that the information that will be found in Kayden's solo interview and his upcoming BTS interview were all done before he filmed with this other company. As I have said before, it is increasingly harder to find guys that have never before filmed and it is even harder when they do start filming to keep them from other studios. Some may say that a contract would be helpful to keep a model with us but unfortunately the way this industry works, it wouldn't help in most cases. After all we are working with guys that are in dire need of money so there would be very little recourse to take when contracts are in place. That isn't to say that we don't use them but in situations like this, the "damage" is already done. With that being said, please give Kayden a chance and enjoy his performance. I know it is easy sometimes to get caught up in all the "drama" that surrounds the models and the site but at the end of the day, we pay these guys for a great performance and I think that the majority of the models give us just that. Including Kayden Winters.

Thanks for the heads-up, sha. It never has bothered me about guys doing other sites either before or after Broke Straight Boys as long as they are up front about it if it occurred before Broke Straight Boys so you guys are not put in an awkward position.

Now on another subject, all of a sudden John Henry has been posting up a storm with a variety of posts and threads, having not been on site since April and having never posted on the forum until 6/1. In one he indicated that scenes were being shot in Florida. Have you guys moved filming back to Florida either temporarily or permanently?

even with the shorten timeframe, at Broke Straight Boys, by the time a model goes through the queue, from production to release, there is no way to compete with shoot and release sites. one of the sites in question, just released its 3rd scene this year. another is on a one per week release schedule. often a model would appear on another site, before his scenes with Broke Straight Boys were released. this gives the appearance of prior experience. good luck with that!

Our company films in various locations. Florida being one of them.

I am not surprised about him filming for other sites. I didn't find him anything to be excited over. In fact after watching the video I deleted it. I rarely delete a video (if I don't like the guy) as I might grow to like them. Don't think that will happen with this guy.

I watched parts of the scene did not rate it as a 1 is more than it deserves. This boy appears to have a major attitude problem, he would be right at home on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood. If anyone thinks he is Straight I got some swamp land in Florida I would be more than happy to sell ya.

Then I can presume from this answer, it is not a permanent location change. Given what you and Mark have been saying recently about the cost pressures facing the web porn industry and by implication Broke Straight Boys, schlepping around the country filming at different sites would seem to be more expensive than having a single location with various studio settings, such as it was in Florida before moving to Denver area. Unless of course, you have some deals where you are using other peoples studios and renting them on a per use basis or a weekly or month basis. Then there is the question of flying all over to different locations And flying isn't cheap. Plus lugging equipment unless you have a lease arrangement in those various locations. What I'm saying is I can't see how this is cost effective unless you have worked out some deals with existing studios in these new locations. I personally do think you will have a better opportunity to engage more models on the east coast then in Denver. Is it logical to presume the the corporate headquarters are still in Denver area?

Thanks for letting us know Sha. :)

Well... A mixed bag here with his scene. He's handsome with a nice body. For a self-described straight boy with a girlfriend though, between the mannerisms, the anal fixation and the compulsive shopping for shoes and other high end clothing, he makes some effeminate openly gay guys look butch in comparison. I don't see him as a really good fit for a site like Broke Straight Boys But time will tell.

This was horrible. I felt very creeped out watching this and he put out a very uneasy vibe. I've never really had that happen before with a solo that I can remember. He did nothing for me and knowing that he already has done scenes on other sites they can have him. I gave him a 1.

Does anyone here remember when Truman Capote used to appear on Johnny Carson? That was the vibe I got from this young man, and I had and have no desire to see a young Truman Capote type get naked and jerk off.

Those are excellent questions Stowe. While I respect and admire Sha, I also understand that he works for Mark, and may not be at liberty to divulge as much information as we would like to have, but obviously there have been big changes on Broke Straight Boys over the last year, and my feeling is that we are still in a transition period as things appear to be constantly evolving.

I mean..... REALLY?......Who care where scenes are shot or whose studio? Bringing good models and good porn scenes is what matters. Why are you so concerned with all that other stuff? As a member, subscriber, I fail to see the relevance in you inquiries!

I liked his body but I am so glad I am not the one who has to deal with him on any level

There's an old saying about having anonymous sex. "Don't talk, you'll ruin it".

This saying, although not about anonymous sex, applies here. He's cute, has a decent body, nice dick and had a good cum shot. All that was ruined in the first 2 minutes when he kept his head tilted back like Gloria Swanson coming down the stairs for her close-up and then talked about Nordstrom's, shoes, and princess drag queen size feet.

The other studio can have him.

I'm sorry Betu, but as a member and subscriber to Broke Straight Boys from the beginning, I am fascinated by that stuff too. I understand that to you, the porn and the boys are all that really matters, which is perfectly understandable, as this is a porn site.

But for me, I look at Broke Straight Boys as a mini soap opera. I was so interested from the beginning to learn that David hired the models and shot the content in Florida and then would send the footage to Denver to be edited and released. There was always controversy about why scenes were held back, and the order of presentation which would confuse us, and when we complained on the forum that a model got fucked and then in a later scene said he had not yet, David would say to complain to Mark as he just shot the scenes, but did not release them.

Then of course David was relieved of his duties and as the info leaked out, we knew we were watching months and months of content that was in the can, but no info was revealed regarding who would film the new content. Eventually BSB2 was unrolled with Jimmy Johnson walking on the beach across a bridge on April 2, 2011 and we hard core forumites asked who is the new voice behind the camera, and we got no answer. Some liked the voice, and some did not. Robert, (RRHill) said he sounded like a Matthew, and so we nick-named him Matthew. Eventually we were introduced to Clay, who sporadically posted on the forum. This content was shot in Florida.

Then the operations were all moved to Colorado and they even made some BTS showing the boys helping set up the new studio. Of course Clay was replaced by Johnny, who got ill and was replaced by Damian Christopher, who then left and was replaced by Sha and Bryce. To be honest, at this point in time, many of the models on the site are of no interest to me, but I am still hooked on the behind the scenes, and the information that we sometimes get and sometimes do not.

If I was here just to see naked guys fucking and sucking, this behind the scenes minutia would make no difference, but I've invested going on seven years of my life following the "reality series" that Broke Straight Boys has become to me. I pay my monthly membership here just as the members who are here for the porn, but to me this is not just a porn site and the questions that Stowe asked are very interesting to me. I certainly understand why it is all irrelevant to others, but I wanted to give some background on how I perceive Broke Straight Boys, particularly in June of 2015, when there are so few actually "believably straight" boys on the site, which was the sexual part that interested me here in the first place. But to quote my friend Johnny, "That's just me".

It's not just me, there are plenty of other subscribing members to this site who've been here just as long...who are interested in the PORN!

But, try to understand....sometimes it just gets to be a real Buzz Kill to hear the same old stuff! I've a great memory, I don't need to be reminded of things too many times now....maybe in several years...but I do enjoy the present. Maybe you and Stowe1 should PM Mark and Sha and Brice Jones! Get the real low down on their business workings and be satiated that way!
There are still way too many of us subscribers who aren't concerned with How, where, why it's done, just as long as it Does Get Done!
