iPad Compatible

I know that the videos here use flash (or at least I assume they do), and I was wondering if there were any plans to switch over to HTML 5, so the site and vids can be accessed on the iPad. I know at least one site (Dominic Ford) has done so, and was kind of hoping Broke Straight Boys might do that as well.

I believe there are plans to do so sometimes this year. I think Flash is not supported by Ipad. I have yet to buy one, I just can't find a good reason to buy it.

The flash version obviously uses Flash, but you should be able to view the QuickTime versions from the iPad. I can watch them from my iPod Touch.

You can watch the Videos on your IPOD Touch or IPHONE but it must be the MEDIUM or PORTABLE Quicktime format links in the new HD Videos or the 112K, 256K or 512K Quicktime Sizes for OLDER Videos! I would assume With the IPAD you might be ok watching the 2mb format for older video's and all HD sizes! Cannot confirm that though! 2mb wont work on the Ipod simply because of screen size, so you might be ok with IPAD

Thanks for the info. I got one mostly for business purposes, and as an e-reader; but I will certainly try some of these suggestions out.

And Scorpio, were it not for the fact I'm in the publishing business and have to keep up on these things, I NEVER would have gotten one-my Ipod Touch is good enough for me!

Yeah same for me, I got a mytouch, E-reader and just bought a netbook that I find really useful. IPAD just doesn't seem to be that useful to me, though knowing myself, I'll probably have to buy it.

Maybe if effen Apple would put Flash on the stupid iPad, Broke Straight Boys wouldn't have to fix a thing.

I hate the iPad BTW.
