Beth is right about the set, the poor direction, the camerawork and ESPECIALLY THE NEW SET.
Isn't there a room in that house with a window facing north that would offer some diffuse natural light (north because you don't have to worry about the time of day as the sun and light changes)? Simple walls painted with muted warm tones (no more white walls), decorated with dark shelves with classically shaped vases and bowls (also black or wooden) and NO PICTURES, unless they're abstract and muted would be ideal. The room should be a canvas for the models, not the other way around. The models should be the only focal point in the room.
The current set is tragic. I know that Broke Straight Boys thought they were doing a good thing, trying for a straight boy look, but most straight guys would laugh. I appreciate the effort, but the whole man cave thing is a distracting, silly and annoying flop.
