Ian and Tate

I loved this scene. Both Ian and Tate were great. Both were upbeat and seemed to not only like each other, but had a good time doing the scene. The mood is set by the cameraman and I really like Bobby's approach. He primes the models and gets them in a happy mood and makes it fun. He's a great addition to the Broke Straight Boys management. Clay was simply boring.Granted, Bobby had two very good models here, but he really brought out their personalities and made the scene enjoyable to watch. Would love to see Tate in some snug fitting undies instead of the traditional boxers. Great job by all. Gave it a 5!!

Oh hell yeah; gave it a "5!" Now that was some fun, by everyone...I really do like Johnny's approach to filming and interacting with the guys. I think Ian was a little startled with Johnny making comments while they were fucking, but I liked it. As for the fucking...awesome! Although I do not (really) think this was Tate's first experience with something/someone up his ass, I did love his face and moans as Ian hit all the right spots. And Ian gets my vote for "Most Accommodating Bottom," for taking it; I appreciated Johnny stepping in and reminding Tate, it's not a pussy. Thank you both for the fun "had" by all.

I haven't watched the scene yet so I cannot comment on it, however being a fan of the history and the behind the scenes drama of Broke Straight Boys, as I've been here "forever", I would like to make some comments on "the comments".

I find it interesting that as of this hour, ten and a half hours after the scene was released on December 1, 10 PM EST, there are two forum posts and 21 (twitter) comments on the scene page following the description and the still shots, and out of the 21 comments most are reacting negatively to the new director. I am also confused as he is named Johnny and Bobby, but most do not like his style and they are suggesting that they know his voice and style from another site.

I also find it interesting that the last few fucking scenes now involve condom use again. I would love to hear from Mark about these recent changes as he posted extensively when the condomless scenes began, as well as when BSB2 started and the change in directors at that point. I find it interesting how I am continually fascinated by this site whether I am enjoying the porn or not.

My fantasy in this scene was Tate's beauty. His nervous laugh, no. Glad to see some ass shots. A shot from behind as he is thrusting into his bottom would be nice. We've had some in the past. I'm definitely stalling here. Again, director's hands were in the video. He doesn't belong in it. Nor does his voice after 3-4 min. It really ruins the sexual fantasies I signed up for. I gave it a 5 because I was not going to penalize the actors over the antics of the director, can't keep his f----ing mouth shut and his pudgy hands out of the video. I am not sure if anyone else has noticed but for the first time Ian had a hard time getting and maintaining an erection. I don't think that it was the condoms causing this but the director pissing him off you could see it in his face and I do not blame him. While we agree on was a sensational sex scene, I consider the aggressive and snarky cameraman/director to be a major problem. Fine camerawork but a real turn off in his intrusive vocalizing.

Always appreciate your thoughtful comments! And my hostility to the director is a real problem for many fans - poor Tate, once again subjected to unsexy, unpleasant and unnecessary commentary by the guy (although I like is camerawork, so just be quiet).

The scene would have been much hotter had the camera man/director shut up. He has an awful voice and is very intrusive. Let the boys work it out---much hotter that way, in my opinion. I can't believe this was Tate's first time taking dick in his mouth OR his ass.

Hi Advocate - my opinion is that IF half, or even a quarter of of us dislike the work of the director, it is a major problem for Broke Straight Boys And if he interferes with a model (I think it really upset Ian) it is real trouble.

Well...

I was very happy to see Ian coming back and doing a scene. I was interested in seeing how Tate would do. Some of my critiques are going to be identical to my earlier ones with Johnny directing it. The talking went on way too long. I enjoy an mini interview before the scene. However, once the clothes finally start coming off, Johnny should not keep a running commentary and conversation going. The viewer is trying to focus on the models. At the very least, any talking from behind the camera should be kept to a minimum after the sex starts.

I didn't care for Johnny letting his hands and arms get into the video frames. Inserting himself so strongly as an extra character in the scene just serves to take the spotlight and focus off of the models. I didn't care for him reaching out and tickling Tate's foot during filming. I don't like to see directors touching the models. (I didn't like it when David would do it either.) I'm not saying that Johnny is not or won't be a great director for us here. H may very well be. Just that I hope that he pulls back to a more traditional behind the camera role. As I said about his other scene, I enjoy the interview beforehand and even sometimes a mini post-show interview. Johnny can still show a bit of his own personality with his interview styles...and hopefully very strong directorial skills. But everything in between the preliminary interview, the stage setting of the scene and the end of the actual sex should be all about the models themselves.

The scene was pretty good!! Like I said on another thread, the new director is giving it an old Broke Straight Boys feel by being involved. "This is a good thing"!!!! Tate's constant laughing is very charming makes him seem real, not the robot type model like some. Good job guys....

I though Ian looked great here. He looked so relaxed and at ease here that it really helps put viewers in a good mood as well I believe. He and Tate seemed to have built up a rapport before the scene. So their sexual interactions were more fluid and trusting of the other. I really liked that Johnny had Ian's dick touching Tate's at the end. If Ian gets all the credit, then thank you Ian. haha That's always an extra thrill for me to see scrotum-on-scrotum contact and the contact of penis-on-penis. For me it just adds another layer of intimacy to a scene. Especially if it's done to (or by) a straight model.

Tate wasn't coming across as straighter than straight when bottoming but he still gave us a good show. Personally I'd like to see him lose the moustache, as it makes him look much older. On some young models the facial hair doesn't age them as much. On Tate I feel it does. Not that late 20's makes him look ugly or over-the-hill by any means. He's a handsome guy.

All in all, I gave the scene a solid 4. Ian was still the star of the show for me.

I know what you're saying there Peter. Johnny has a stronger personality than Clay on the set. And that's not a bad thing. Just that I feel he should be more choosey as to which points in the scene he puts his own presence and personality on display.

I really haven't watched the whole scene yet but, I've read a lot of comments! I was really curious to see Tate perform and I think because he's initially not really my type in porn, he's someone new to watch. I thought he did a good job. I think Ian is a nice young man, very engaging, good performer but.....I still enjoy/enjoyed him better in College Dudes! I can't explain it! If he were still filming there, I would probably have all of his scenes downloaded by now!

Now Johnny! When you've watched as much internet porn as I have, you realize that, Broke Straight Boys for the most part, is filmed using one or more cameras, on a studio set. Some studios have lights and people everywhere while the models are performing. If you are accustomed to directing a scene with a lot going on, it's going to be an adjustment (I would think) to scale it down and still give the actors/models guidance! I'm just sayin......" I for one will let the man do his thing, I'll get used to his directing style! As long as the end result is the best scenes possible.......I say "let it go."

I loved the scene and I had no issues with the director. I really do not get the issues that people are having here. Sorry but I do not. It isn't like he is shoving himself in the scene and doing one of the models on screen. As for his directions, well I have heard people complain in the past when they complained the directer was not doing enough direction and the models did not seem to know how to act on the tape. Whatever - different strokes for different folks.

Personally I do not watch the videos to pay attention to the directer. I am focused on the models.
