However, someone I didn't like much once said, "A stiff dick

I was thinking the same thing Robert, as I read about the honesty of the stiff dick, that the little blue pill has changed all of that.

But your point about the eyes not lying is most interesting. I was always fascinated how one of my all time favorites, Mike Robbins proclaimed his straightness, but to watch his eyes when another guy got naked or hard or shot his load was always a favorite part of his scenes for me, not as hot as when his own beautiful cock would produce an eruption, like that of Mount Vesuvius, but watching Mike's eyes was a fascination of mine too.

I'm fascinated by body language in all areas of life and keep an eye on who's foot is pointing toward who and who is shielding themselves with their arm, even an unconsciously dropped shoulder can tell a story, but I find it even more fascinating in Broke Straight Boys scenes.

While not foolproof it does give you a better indication of who is really into it and who is acting a part, which can turn an average scene into something much hotter...

I have a hard time with the "performance enhancing" drug rules for athletes. They need to make better rules for that. Cold, allergy, and asthma medicines are all considered "performance enhancing" drugs. That if I could ride a bike fast enough to enter races, I would be disqualified, instead of congratulated......because I take asthma meds every day so that I can function like everyone else. There was a Winter Olympics not too long ago, where a lot of the athletes were competing very sick with the terrible cold going around, because they couldn't take cold medicine. People take some things way too seriously.
