But I cannot wait to thank Jay for that amazing birthday greeting. That is one cake I would absolutely LOVE to BLOW out the candles and I’m sure the icing is creamy good to the last drop.

In April 2011, I joined this site. For that first month, I tried to figure out how things worked (being the luddite that I am concerning things internet related). I also read the forum, but didn't know whether or not I'd join. As I read all the various postings, I found that some guy named mikeyank had views on the various scenes which were pretty close to my own. Given that and the wide variety of topics posted on the forum then, I decided to join.
I was having a problem with something on the forum and posted a cry for help. And 'lo and behold this guy mikeyank answered and help me solve whatever the issue was. And out of that began a beautiful friendship. Over the next decade we became close friends, sharing news about our families, talking about what's going on with the world as well as his educating me about the early days of the forum and site.
The last thing I ever imagined when I joined a porn website was that I would acquire not only a friend but also someone whom I cherish and appreciate. So Happy Birthday, mikey; and may you have many more to come.

Thank you so much to everyone who posted here. I actually have a tear in my eye reading the whole thread. And like a Stowe said, I too never expected to make real life friends like Stowe and so many more forumites both past and present. I know that I bitch a lot here but I appreciate you all putting up with me, especially David and Mark. I do love and appreciate the freedom management gives us to express ourselves, both negative and positive. But it is the members of this forum that keep me here. Thank you one and all for contributing to a very nice birthday.
Jay definitely stole the cake. I’ve been so preoccupied with building projects and a new house that I haven’t been here much but I do keep up with things through my best Broke Straight Boys buddy the famous or is it infamous, Mikeyank.
