The 4th of July. The celebration of our country as an Independent, Democratic, and Free Nation. We have gone through much since I was born but we still stand strong and Proud. "God Bless The USA"

And, we still stand Strong and Proud. We must never forget!

People have laughed at me throughout the years for getting so emotional during days of National celebrations. This photo speaks for itself. It is My Dad on the left (WWII) and me on the right (Viet Name Era).

Great pics Louis. Thank you for your service! And we owe a thanks for your father's service too.

Louis -

As always, your photos and reminiscences are superlative. Happy Fourth of July, to all my American friends.

Hugs,
"A" XOXOXOXOXOXO

I know I already posted this song before. But the historical photo and video collages in it are awe-inspiring. They're worth a look all by themselves . Let alone if you already like the song. :)

While I was NYC, Mikeyank and I visited Ellis Island. It was something I've always wanted to visit if I were ever in NYC and it didn't dissapoint! Although my people were already here on this continent, it was cool to see the names and pics of people who passed through these buildings on their way to a better life in America...

I would LOVE to see that for myself. :)
