Groups That Could/Can Fill a Stadium 15 - 20 Years From Their Height

I was reading about Justin Bieber and One Direction filling stadiums throughout Europe. Will they be able to do this 15 to 20 years from now. Probably not. This is rare. I am trying to think of who did this or can still do it. Correct me if you think I am wrong. I am no expect in music history. Please add tothe list. I am curious.

I agree with your choices tim, and will add the following: The Who, U2, Paul Mcartney, Bruce Springsteen and Eric Clapton. Funny how this list contains with the exception of U2, all 60s and 70s rockers. Nobody that is out now will have the longevity that these people do. But I'll give the Bieber a fighting chance, because he at least writes his own music.

I am talking about groups who could fill stadium-sized venues at their height and still do it 15 to 20 years later. I was thinking Elvis, but I am not sure he did the big venue deal. Worked a lot of Vegas gigs. Also Frank Sinatra.

A lot of the old rock bands still fill massive venues. Rush, AC/DC, etc

Metallica, Beyonce , Madonna,Tina Turner. I say Beyonce cause she has been doing this since the 90's
