Hi,
http://www.bbc.co.uk/events/ej58q9

Just thought I'd post this link up as it's the Glastonbury pop festival this weekend. Not sure if you yanks can get the bbc tv over there but there will be stuff online too. Enjoy 'cos it's gonna be great.

Our biggest online offer ever, you'll be able to watch over 120 performances right here onbbc.co.uk/Glastonbury.
We'll be live streaming six stages - Pyramid, Other, John Peel, West Holts, Park and BBC Introducing - plus an additional roaming camera following BBC Radio DJs throughout the site on Friday. You can watch these streams live on PC, mobile, tablet and connected TV.
This website will be the place to catch up on performances before anyone else, plus see spectacular photo galleries and interviews from across the site. Extended highlights from the main stages will be available on BBC iPlayer and you can keep up to date whilst on the go with the BBC iPlayer Radio app – if you haven’t already, download it here for iOS andhere for Android.

Well today's show was brilliant. I've just watched 1hr 20mins of Nile Rodgers and the Chic Organisation perform. Considering it has taken them 35 years to get to Glastonbury, they were brilliant. In an interview with the BBC, Nile said that this festival was the biggest and best in the world. He's dead right.

Other great performances today include Jake Bugg, the Arctic Monkey who were today headliners, Rita Ora and many more.

The following clip was the encore for Chic and Nile Rodgers - Nile got members of the audience on stage which must have shocked everyone. Everyone is talking about this set and coincides with the release of an album on sale July 1st.

Just watched Rufus Wainwright on his first time on the main pyramid stage. He mentioned his husband and how it is their first anniversary in August and dedicated a song to him. His show is not on Youtube as yet but I'll put a clip up later.

Kenny Rogers on next..

Take a look at these young Irish studs - With their mod haircuts and guitar mastery, the four lads from Cavan, Ireland who make up The Strypes are well on their way to superstardom

Having spent the last 18 months on the gig circuit developing their enthusiastic rhythm and blues sound, they’ve received praise from Paul Weller and been tipped by the NME as a number one band to watch.

They recently wowed at 6 Music Live in Maida Vale plus hyped the Radio 1’s Big Weekend crowd at a BBC Introducing gig before the event. Taking influence from Mercury label mate Jake Bugg and Main Stage headliners The Rolling Stones, it’s worth betting that it won’t be long until strypes are seen all over the Pyramid Stage.
