Hey guys i had been thinking about doing this for a while now and i'm finally going to do it. I want to spread what i have learned over the past two years of getting knowledged and getting motivation that has now lead me to become a personal trainer. so ask me anything about health and fitness and i would be more then glad to give you that MASK.

MOTIVATION
ACCOUNTABILITY
STRUCTURE &
KNOWLEDGE.

The most strenuous exercise I get is when I run to jump in bed... to sleep!

Seriously, your body is beautiful and I wish you well with your career as a PT.

i need motivation!!!! i cant hear you with your shirt on though haha!!!
hope your well buddy!!

That's awesome and a very rewarding job! I have the knowledge of the nutritional part of my health but don't always follow the correct requirements. Between my job and weekly golf rounds (walking) I get a lot of exercise but would like to tone up my stomach a little. So my question is: Would eating less carbs and doing more sit-ups be a good first step?

Peter - I didn't know you are a golfer, but I DO know that you are superbly goodlooking. I suspect the sit-ups would be, superfluous: at least, from my coign of vantage.

Kisses,
"A" XOXOXOXOXO

Dear Devon -

This is a wonderful course, upon which you have set yourself! And I have no doubt that you will help thousands, with your knowledge.

Personally, I am a little PAST your help. To wit:

*As regards motivation: yes indeed, I want to have a beautiful body - - - Mr. K.K.'s, right next to me.
*As regards accountability: a very wise old employer of mine always said to me, "A, whenever you pass an auditor in the hallway - walk on the OTHER SIDE."
*As regards structure: I am a little too dim for CHESS, but rejoice in Mozart's sonata-form.
*As regards knowledge: I know only that, in the phrase clumsily and imprecisely attributed to Socrates, by way of his disciple, Plato: "I know only one thing, and that is, that I know nothing."

My body decays. My mind (for the moment) subsists. And I am content (accompanied, of course, by a copy of the essays of Montaigne, a bottle of Lagavulin, and a few excellent Cuban cigars) - to drift up any lazy river, that will bear my (quite considerable) weight ;-))) Cicero once said, "Otium surpasseth negotium" - which (loosely translated) means, "It's great to be lazy" ~ and I am quite on board, with this sentiment.

Puckishly yours, Devon,
"A" XOXOXOXOXO

Thank you Ambi I'm blushing:blushing: Have been golfing for a long time now and usually by this time of the year I'm down to a single digit handicap. This year I haven't played as much as normal so I'm around a 13 right now.

Definitely eating less carbs with carido with resistence training on your abs will let them show more. Keep it up

What are the steps I would have to take in order to become a CPT? (certified personal trainer)

As this would be something I would be interested in.

Thanks :)

You can take online classes or go to a small trade school and earn it. Bro Being a CPT I think is the best job in the world you are going down the right path. Look up NASM. That's a good place to start with

Is there such thing as over-training Devon?

I dont belive in over-training a certin muscle group, i only belive in over-training the CNS (Central Nervous System). Over training a certin muscle group though is complete bro-science. "But if you do more than 15 sets for your biceps your over-training them" lol, no. what many people dont realize is that high volume is another form of overload. One of the principles of muscle hypertrophy. You must continuously increase overload on the muscle to stimulate new growth. And along with overloading muscles involves eating a lot more to keep your muscles fed.

Hugs, Devon -

You remind me of my Dear Old Dad's constant adjurations ~ "A. - if you want to KEEP that decent and clever mind of yours, you have to keep a HEALTHY BODY, to keep it WORKING, IN." ;-)

My only motivation is to be a better writer - I don't really care what I LOOK LIKE - but your remonstrance reminded me of what Dear Old Dad always says: and for that, I thank you.

And, kisses, you ARE looking great.

"A" XOXOXOXOXOXO
