I have recently moved from Michigan to Florida and it has been a taxing experience. I have not been on the forum for a long time. I can't tell but apparently, there have been some changes in the format of the site. Perhaps COVID related (although I think many people use this as an excuse--but when there are real issues and COVID is obviously one of them they need to be addressed). From what I'm seeing is that they are bringing back the old Broke Straight Boys 1 which I hate. What happened to Shannon etc? The only reason I'm here now is to have College Boy Physicals and my favorites that I have saved or I'd dump this site in a hard beat.

Are these very old scenes or new? The site has evolved so much and I enjoyed that and am still here because of it. I’m not a huge fan of the last 6 or scenes. I hope the content we enjoyed in the recent past will return soon. Thank you for navigating all the COVID hurdles and continuing to give us content. This is my understanding. Because of COVID-19 they could not film in Atlanta. As things opened up a little. The studio in Florida that shoots College Boy Physicals was able to shoot because they have an extensive quick lab for the models that added COVID testing. Mark ask David and his partner Eddie who were the original producer/filmers of Broke Straight Boys to start filming again. They personally decided to try the original format that got Broke Straight Boys started. I know it seems out dated to many new members. They made adjustments right away. Because in the old days they started with jack offs then oral and finally anal if they could talk the boys into it. Many people complain that this wouldn’t fly these days and they went right to oral and anal. So I believe they are listening to requests and suggestions.
Each version of Broke Straight Boys has met with objections when it changed. I wasn’t here for all of the versions but my long time forum friends have told me of many complaints were always registered every time anything changed. No exception this time. I personally enjoy the original concept reboot. I’m a member of a few sites and most of them have a bit of a story behind what the scene is about. I continually find it amazing how Rep and I agree on this subject, despite the fact that he joined the forum in 2016, eight years after I did and long after the days of Broke Straight Boys-1 ended, and the fact that he wants to see all straight boys fucked whereas I want the straight boys to remain total tops. But we both agree that the formula of having a believably straight boy show up at Broke Straight Boys for the first time being brand new to gay porn and possibly to gay sex is the "secret sauce" that makes Broke Straight Boys work for us.
Over the last few years, I have been totally bored with the majority of the models and sex scenes presented on the site. Most seemed totally into gay sex from the git-go and most scenes started with kissing and tender touching leading to deep throat blowjobs, rimming and eventually fucking in a variety of positions, which is exactly what is presented on typical gay porn sites. I joined Broke Straight Boys to see straight boys having first time gay sex for money and over time expanding their boundaries. And then to see some begin to enjoy the sucking and fucking despite their reluctance at the start was the magic of Broke Straight Boys for me. When they started off with a passionate kiss it was why is this Broke Straight Boys and not any other site on the web?

A lot of what Rep and Mikey say about what has happened here is true, but some of it is only their personal opinions, and they’re entitled to them and I respect them. I am not sure Jay that you need to apologise for your comments, I think the blame for that lies firmly in another's court. I agree with alot of your points here as well, the latest scene from Gator and Patrick I could only score a 2. I really am not enjoying this back to original concept for Broke Straight Boys, in fact if I had been quicker of the mark I would have cancelled my subscription. I am all for reboots, it works well for TV series and films, and many that have, have been hugely successful. However the difference with these and the current Broke Straight Boys approach is that the have allowed originality to enhance this, the current batch of scenes lacks this, hence it looking tired already. I don't blame the models for any of this, blame has to lie with the production team. I am just hoping that now several vaccines seem to be nearer to being massed released that hopefully the Atlanta site can start production again and we can get scenes that we all like.

You know that I totally respect your opinions and your point of view Foxyman and to everyone else who posts on the forum. But I must say that you can’t say that returning to the Atlanta production team would produce scenes “that we all like”. That is not necessarily the case.

By the way, my disappointment in today’s scene between Mikey & Patrick had nothing to do with the style of filming, but rather that I thought it was a poor pairing of models. To me it is of utmost importance that the scenes contain at least one reasonably straight guy in the scenes. If not, why call the site Broke Straight Boys? What separates this site from any other without the “straight trying gay sex for money” angle?

If going back to Atlanta means dumping that futon, which I have taiked about (I know) . I hope they will be back soon. Atlanta has several testing sites but probably not as close as what they currently have, I also gave the latest a two and I'm very tired of seeing the boy who has not (apparently) been able to proicure a brush. I do like Patrick, but not in this scene. Liked him better when he was paired witg Gino (my current best seller in this current dismal retweet of Broke Straight Boys-1. However, I continue for now to travel with hope. Perhaps next year things will inprove.

Actually it is not just me who likes David's style of filming and the rest of membership who like the recent style filmed in Atlanta.
The forum only represents a small part of total membership, who all have the option to vote on the scenes. I checked the last four scnes filmed by David and the scores are:
today's scene, (so far) 3.63
Mikey & Jake 3.24
Pat & Gino 4.35
Jake & Patrick 3.81
Average score 3.76
Those are not great ratings but when one can vote, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5, and so 3.76 is an above average score and therefore it is not just me who is giving these scenes a fair to good rating. I would change your phraseology to some of us enjoy the Florida style scenes and perhaps more of us enjoy the Atlanta style scenes. By the way the last four scenes released from Atlanta average a 4.39, which is a 0.63 higher score than the most recent four from Florida. The taste of the overall Broke Straight Boys audience is not monolithic and I agree a variety of styles might be the "secret sauce" to keep all of the people happy at least some of the time.

It is not just you as I agree that David's new scenes are welcome entertainment, particularly after the long barren stretch we have endured due to COVID 19.
I think it does. Maybe you have to throw the bi word in there but it’s my experience that many straight guys or bi curious like to bottom. If come across quite a few over the years who knew I was gay and wanted to try it. It’s my theory that bottoming is the one thing a girl can’t really do for them. Some get off on it and really like it. They still run back to their wives and girlfriends where they are obviously a top. So it does not surprise me at all and I put these guys often in the closer to straight category.
