Ever the contrarian and despite not having much time to do this, I'm finding interesting stuff on the forum lately. And the fact that the individual threads aren't being added to every few minutes means it's easier to read all the new posts that do turn up and comment on them.

As far as the content is concerned, it's totally in line with what we've had right from the start. The Golden Age, with Tyler, Diesal, Austin, Logan, Dustin, Danny, et cetera, may have come and gone some time ago, but considering that we're seeing the very last of the original production, I don't think there's anything to complain about.

On the other hand the announcement of Miker's death has made me wonder what the forum will be like after the last D&E video is uploaded to the site. In a possibly overstretched symbolic way, the announcement that he's dead is a precursor of the less transcendental, but certainly fascinating, imminent demise of Broke Straight Boys as we've known it for years.

I just thought I'd throw my 2 cents as it's been a while.
Even though I work for Blumedia, I still need to keep it real. The latest videos are not my favorite ones to say the least. Some might love them, some might dislike them and true that goes with everything in life. But that could be the top reason why the forums is so slow nowadays. Frankly, there is not much to say about the videos.

Now I know some of you may have some concerns about the "old" vs "new" Broke Straight Boys David did a great job with Broke Straight Boys, but sometimes things needs to change. David will still be filming for Boy Gusher and College Boy Physicals so it's not like you won't be hearing from him anymore, he'll still be around if you have any questions for him. But as for the new Broke Straight Boys, there will be a new photographer meaning a new "Broke Straight Boys voice", new guys... but I promise you, you really don't need to worry about the new "Broke Straight Boys", we're not suicidal And I'm sure you'll love it too. Yes there won't be Tyler, Diesal.. but there will be new guys that you are going to learn to love and be fan of

Just less that one month to wait before it all goes online and I'm sure the forums will go into a frenzy once again Meanwhile, hang tight.

I had just read all the CF crap on the other thread, and was thinking that exact thought about their site, when I read your little blurb about the "New" Broke Straight Boys Mom always told me, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", to which my dad (may he rest in peace) would respond, "Well, maybe just tweek it a bit!" So I shall assume the obvious, that Blumedia is only "Tweeking it a bit" in re the product it creates.

Thanks Steve. We all should remember that a person of your taste and discernment, talent and creativity, has been part of the input of the new Broke Straight Boys Just seeing your post here has allayed any worries I might have had.

Well, maybe I'm still concerned about how anyone can possibly step into David's shoes as host since he was such an emblematic part of the whole concept. All the other guys who film and speak on the other sites are so embarrassingly grim that the fear that you guys might have picked an asshole to do the scenes and interview the boys is deffo a gorilla of some size breathing softly somewhere in the room.

You've made three or four references to March 1, in your posts today Buckhorn, but I don't recall reading that March 1 was going to be the date that the backlog of the old material would expire.

In fact in Post # 3 in this very thread Scorpio says today:

I recall Mark saying something about early Spring, or perhaps April. So we still have a few weeks to wait....
