I don't know if you guys heard but there is a new guy who just came out named Derrick Gordon. He's a cute Black NCAA div 1 basketball player for UMass. He's the first d1 player to come out. I am so proud of this super attractive guy. I know it is alot to have such courage to come out as an athlete especially to be in the locker room and everything is cool and they accept you for you. That's great! So shout to him. He is giving hope to alot of people. Including myself, as I have yet to reveal who I am to my family and loved ones. I don't know what to do but I know I don't want to live a lie my entire life. I guess I my take from this is just be true to yourself. Accept who you are.

"The Times They Are A-changing" indeed, with Jason Collins, Michael Sam and now Derrick Gordon all coming in American sports. We need for one of the young players to become a superstar in their sport to really burst the walls down in the sports closet.

I applaud him as well Zayboy. I understand it is all that much harder to come out in the black community. For whatever reason it is considered especially homophobic.
