Dan White & other One and Done Models

I was going through the list of models, and came across Dan White from October 1, 2012, and it got me to wondering again why some guys like Dan do their solo, receive rave reviews from membership and never do a second scene with another guy. Being as curious as I am about the inner workings of the site, I'd love to find out from Johnny Robins, (although Dan was from way before his time here), or from Mark or Sha how it comes about that a model comes to the studio, whether it was in Florida or now in Colorado, and only films a solo and nothing more.

Typically models appear to be flown in, put up in a hotel or at the house for their time in town, and I imagine they are all expected to do at least three scenes before leaving town. The only time that I can recall having this phenomenon explored was with Mike Parker aka "Reluctant Mike", who we saw in a BTS arriving at the airport, doing his solo and then we actually watched him in a scene with Lucas, as Lucas sucked Mike and got him close to orgasm, and then when Clay told Mike to "return the favor", he bent his head down towards Lucas's crotch and then said, "I don't think I can do this", and the scene faded to black......................and we never heard from Reluctant Mike again. The scene currently rates at 1.73, but I find it interesting and memorable for as a fan of the reality aspect of Broke Straight Boys, this scene is about as real as it gets.

I'd sure love to find out from management if similar things have happened with other "one and done" models, but if we just never saw the results as we did with Mike.

Great job Mikey. You are right, Dan White is a really beautiful guy! It's a shame he didn't do more and like you, I am also curious why not!
Reluctant Mike was no loss!

I wished we would have seen more from Zander Floyd, Graham and Kodi as well

I too share in the "curiosity" but, I imagine from being a member of the site for a while, it is a reality too, that sometimes these guys know in short order, this is not for them! As well as some of the aforementioned models, Alan North was a good example of someone who received positive feed back from fans, especially after his BTS interview. He was in 4 scenes (including his solo and oral from Paul) his interview and one BTS. I opine, it's an individual determination. There was Kael Diggs who, as Jon pointed out in a recent thread, someone failed a "test". I wonder if that was him? Failing a test could also be a determination, and that could apply to any number of those who've only done solos?

I have thought the same thing mikey! In fact we have been told that it was uneconomical to fly in a model to do just one scene. But I'm guessing if they refused to do more than a solo they couldn't be forced to. The mysterious workings of Broke Straight Boys - lol!!

We were given a small clue in a recent BTS vid. While I'm certain it does not apply to all the models who mysteriously disappear after only one or two scenes...one reason could be drug use. Mark explained that their contractual policy was that no drugs were to brought into or used in the house. If a model is caught breaking that rule, then he is immediately sent back home. The cost of the airfare to send him home early can even be deducted from the pay he is due from work already performed.

So again, while it (hopefully) doesn't explain every one and done model, it may apply to a few.

I think you're actually on to something there Peter. haha I can remember thinking that of a couple models. One who looked really really hot with his clothes on. And then with his clothes off, not so much. Then another model who looked cute enough but rather "plainish" with his clothes on. But then when he was naked and you could see the full effect of how all of his physical attributes came together for him...it was like, Wowza!! He was/is off-the-charts beautiful. haha

I would certainly hope that the models are required to submit naked pics of themselves before they are selected and flown into Colorado. After all, they are not coming to town to appear on a quiz show, or to perform on American Idol, or to engage in a political debate.

If they are selected to be a porn model, they better damn well have a nice body and nice equipment too.
