Comments and feelings about models

This post is about the latest Broke Straight Boys site scene with Calvin and Chris. I normally don't say anything in public, but I think this must be said because I think a lot of members of this site make hurtful comments. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I agree that as a paying member, and because this site is very heavy with ratings and comments, it causes friction amongst members, the criticism and the critique of each scene becomes overwhelming for many of us who are trying to do there best to film and create and good scene for members to watch.

Because of these comments, many of the models watch and read their comments. This forum is now open to the public and no longer private. Also, many of the members contact the models via Twitter (X) and directly message the models. Access to the models is very easy, but the feedback and what the models show me regarding the comments, I have to admit I am very appalled.

Just recently a model named Chris Shine, was contacted by one of the Broke Straight Boys members and this particular member told Chris that he was FAT, and shouldn't be filming. That he was out of shape and he was surprised the Broke Straight Boys would hire such a model. Chris was very upset, and when he got that message, he was here filming... a matter of fact, he read that message before filming with Calvin in this last update on Broke Straight Boys It made Chris so upset he cried and we had to take a pause and consult with him regarding such a mean message. I had to share my own experience with Chris regarding the critique I get from members and over the years the insults I receive. However, I am a mature adult, and although I don't like the criticism, I am mature enough to let it slide, but when you're dealing with a young man in his early 20s, it is horrifying and upsetting.

Now, I have to admit that Chris did gain weight and he is not in the best of shape, but I said nothing because I didn't want to bring down the good vibe we were having within the house and production. But when he got that message on his Twitter, he was taken back emotionally. Because of this comment that was sent to him, he was very aware and concerned about his body and his image on video. Because of that, I didn't take a video of his backside (which many of the members enjoy watching) because he had a fatty ass and no tone to his back so I decided not to videotape his back while he was topping Calvin because I was concerned that the members who are into backs would critique him and make nasty rude posts and then he would get rude text messages on Twitter.

There was another model that only filmed one time, he did a great job and was willing to come back. However, we have another Broke Straight Boys member who stepped over the line. It just happens that this particular model lived in the same town, in the same neighborhood as this model. Once this member found out that these models lived in the same area, he stalked this model and followed him around and the model freaked out and refused to come back and film for Broke Straight Boys

In most cases, the members don't give ratings or feedback, but there are a handful of members who seem to feel they have a right and are entitled to contact models via social media because they pay for a membership to a site and they feel they can do this. These particular members don't respect boundaries and also just because we pay them to have sex, these guys are not "whores". They are not even professional porn stars, they are just trying to earn some extra money for school and pay their bills.

I sit back and keep my mouth shut, and I say nothing. We all read your comments but I ask you when posting, just don't assume what you think that goes on behind the scenes you know better, there are a lot of emotional situations and personalities we deal with week to week. Although we are a production studio first, we have to play the role of "mommy and daddy" and therapists to these guys and sometimes your comments are not helping the cause. Please be respectful toward production and to the models that we are all doing our best to cater to everyone who wants to see everything while dealing with human beings and emotions.

Regarding the last scene with Chris and Calvin, what I read were folks who said that they were both handsome but they were criticized for a low energy performance and just going through the motions with the sex. That is fair criticism in my opinion. If we are only supposed to praise models and scenes, then the forum is useless. As you said we are encouraged to rate models and scenes and for those who judge the performance to not be to their liking, they can give low ratings. Similarly we can post our dissatisfaction on the forum. No, we should never criticize a model’s looks, but certainly to say that we didn’t like their performance is certainly legitimate in my opinion.

Yes....you are correct and many members give positive but good critiques regardless if the scene is not the best or low energy. It is how the message is delivered, which is great! My post was to make awareness of the few members that cross the line and to remember that these models read the comments, on this forum and the scene comments on the actual site itself which at times can be brutal. Plus to respect the model's personal space and their social media, which many cross the line. As you stated, it is part of our society today that humanity just went down the drain.

I think our models put themselves out there for our enjoyment and remember they are mostly young and inexperienced. They are not older men, they are boys who are no different that other people who have fears, anxiety and doubts about themselves. They also have good days and bad and yet they get in front of the camera and try to do their best to put on a good show for us.

I’ve also read from members what they don’t like about a model’s appearance. I personally like seeing realistic guys which means i have no problem with tattoos, long hair, chubby (fat to some), or skinny. I have no problem with age, big or small dicks, cut or uncut or any ethnicity. I also don’t need them to do the; kiss, suck, rim, fuck and cum routine in order to enjoy the show. I like realistic intimacy between the guys. To me that’s sexy. If they do only a part of it, that’s fine with me as it might be their first time with a guy and they might do more the next time. Criticizing a model because they have a feature you don’t like or they did something differently than routine may not be an issue for other members. Here’s where rating them on a 1 to 5 scale works. Remember, we’re a large group so don’t assume we all feel the same way.

I do think there are things we can comment about; such as lack of connection or intimacy, or cumming too soon or not at all, lack of energy etc., as long as it’s not personal. Because making the criticism personal towards a model can be destructive. This fantasy that the models provide is for our enjoyment, and works best when our models are comfortable and confident which allows them to takes risks and to be vulnerable. I think we all win then.

Very well said, it is sad to say, but most of the rude comments are made via the model's social media. Or they read the comments on the actual scene comments. Wow, what a completely arrogant douchenozzle! There have been models here in the past who simply were not my cup of tea. It was simply a matter of personal preference. I would never in a million years track them down and attack them like this wanker did. I know that Mikeyank and I have been around here so damn long, we practically opened up the doors on the first show. We have seen a lot of young men come and go over those years. [Damn, Mikeyank, has it almost been 17 years?] Now Mikeyank and I have had similar tastes in models over the years. Not identical but quite similar. Neither of us would behave like that to a model. And I still remember the valiant defense that Mikeyank especially [me to a lesser extent] put up for Jimmy Johnson when some other people were dogpiling on him.

I went back to watch the scene again. Chris has put on a little weight but he is still an adorable young man. He is not morbidly obese at all. However, he is in a profession where he needs to drop a few pounds but hopefully not overdo it. As I said, he is an adorable young man and I would not want him to look anorexic. I look forward to seeing him return here many more times.

As for the cretin who took it upon himself to contact Chris and verbally attack him, fuck off, then fuck off some more, and then after that, fuck all the way off. It is one thing to offer a legitimate critique of a performance to a performer. It is another thing to verbally assault someone about their physical appearance. And frankly, I do not give a damn that you pay your monthly subscription fee. It does not give you license to verbally attack people in such a fashion. If you have some issue with the quality of the models presented here, take it up with management and do so in a proper manner. Not like some drunken, pissed-off queen abusing the drag performers at a gay club. Of course, if you verbally assaulted a performer at a drag show like that she'd more than likely shove her stiletto heel up your arse and drop kick your balls out the door. While I admit I had not watched the scene yet in its entirety, I took a peek at it and Chis looks AMAZING in my opinion. Both @Jaybifla and I have expressed our liking of beefy guys. I hope you bring him back even if he doesn't tone up. We should be normalizing all body types, porn skews what we consider appealing, and in real life most guys don't fit that porn star body type. Give me a nice guy over 6 pack abs any day!

I feel for Chris Shine and hope he will not drop out of Broke Straight Boys I don't think he's fat! He's a cute twink that needs a little help with a workout in the gym, running, swimming.

Indeed juanjo, we have shared so much here on the forum over the years and there have been asshole members here too but the vast majority of forumites have been and still are good folks who enjoy sharing our appreciation of good looking young guys who perform for us. But as in most of life, it is the obnoxious and often cruel ones who stand out and to use an old cliche, one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel. Not actually but they can be a bummer and make things rough on the young and often vulnerable models who perform here. It is an unfortunate aspect of giving people a forum, either here, on the scene pages and mostly today on social media.
