Sad Day. Besides Broke Straight Boys, Chaos Men was a site I enjoyed for a long, long time. Time to cancel.

I left Sean Cody when that site was sold.
Randy Blue closed.
Falcon Studios is running a 50th anniversary membership sale, so I might try that. They have a huge library and their scenes can be downloaded.

I don't subscribe to any of the only fans / just for fans sites.

I do enjoy Chaturbate, but only with the Colombia (South America) Rooms.

Thank goodness that Mark is trying to keep this site afloat and stay independent. I will continue to support this site.

Boy, times have changed !

Sad fact of life not only in porn but all over in part due to Covid.

Yeah there is a lot of sites that are very large that have been sold. Porn Hub have contacted me before saying they could fly me out first class, 5 star hotel etc to discuss them buying me and I flat out told them no way. With all this being said we really do appreciate your support of our sites as things become more and more difficult in an ever changing industry.

Thanks for not selling. I know I've bitched and moaned, but I really do enjoy the site, the hot guys and especially the forum here. I may not be as active as other members but I'm lurking in the background.

I know others have talked extensively about the differing opinions on the whole straight/gay/bi models and the difficulty in recruitment, to me it doesn't matter, just have fun during the scene is all I ask for. I was on Chaturbate once with a model and I asked to see his ass, he was reluctant to show it (yet he had no issue jerking etc). He asked if I was going to leave the private show, I asked him why? He said that people leave when they find out he is straight and won't do a few things on camera. We talked for about a half hour and you know it's crazy how some people treat models like a sack of meat, like they are an expendable object and owed something, it gave me a whole new look on what some of the performers must go through in the industry. I do not see that happening here, you all treat the guys with respect.

Thank you for not selling out Mark. I shudder to think of what some other corporation would do to the site. I just don't think it would last very long with new owners who were not passionate or attached to it.

Well put! Keep up the good work Broke Straight Boys!

I hope you will continue to post Chac. There's no need for you to only lurk if you feel you have something you'd like to share. haha :001_smile:

I am glad you brought that point up about how people treat these guys...it doesn't matter if they are gay, straight or bisexual...and thank you for taking your time in chatting with the Chaturbate model and posting here on this forum about your chat with this particular person. I wish everyone can take the time to listen and learn and have some consideration for the guys that do film and do this for a living or for extra money. Sometimes as consumers we get clouded in judgement and opinions or have the attitude "I'm a paying customer" and feel that there is some sort of entitlement without realizing we are all humans and have feelings and trying and doing our best regardless of the circumstances so I thank you for posting this up.

well if you’re referring to members on the forum and our conversations of sexuality recently, I don’t think anyone has been that disrespectful. Also, if you don’t want to know what people are thinking or constructive criticism, don’t have an open forum. I agree with what you are saying about everyone is human and has feelings, but as far as entitlement, I don’t know what you’re referring to. If you’re referring to members recently complaining about the lack of straight models, well that’s always going to be a complaint. Paying customers do have a right to expect a product that you’re promoting. I don’t think that’s entitlement.

Sexuality and treating a person (model) are two different things. As I wrote I mentioned it doesn't matter if the guy is gay, straight or bisexual, in general many studios don't treat there guys very well and a lot of gay men when chatting or watching gay porn are at times rude to the guys and have a misconception that guys that do porn are "hustlers" or "drug addicts" or "immoral people" I think that is what the original post was all about and not focused on the sex of the particular person performing, I was thanking him for recognizing that since a lot of people have a different thinking process of people that produce porn and act in porn and porn as a whole and has nothing to do in particular with Broke Straight Boys or any particular member of Broke Straight Boys

As far as sexuality goes, I agree with you 200%, if the members complain that the guys are gay on a site that promotes "straight"...then I agree with you whole heartily. Everyone is different and has different tastes and expectations.

I use to work as a manager in a upscale seafood restaurant here in South Florida (prior to filming porn and going into this business) and from that experience that life has taught me, not everyone is going to love eating seafood at the restaurant I worked at. The majority of customers that came into the restaurant loved the food & the service. There were always those that hated the food and will never return or go to a better seafood restaurant and then there where those that came into the restaurant everyday (we had early-bird specials from 5-6:30pm) and would complain and complain every day about something or another but they ate the food, paid and left a nice tip and we as the staff just smiled and thanked them for there business and support and we looked forward to seeing them back again.

In life, I have learned and especially as a business owner and/or manager, you will not be able to satisfy everyone and make everyone happy and not everyone is going to love your product. This is true for every business model and for every business out there. It is the price of doing business and you have to have a thick skin and except the good, the bad and the ugly. Its takes a brave & strong person, to endure the challenges of the ebb-n-flow of business and learn from it.

Ah, ok. I just didn’t understand properly.
As we discussed recently, I am pretty open to the idea of a straight man being able to do gay 4 pay videos. I think everyone is different and some guys just see it as a physical activity that won’t kill them, lol, with the main goal of making lots of money. If I were younger, I could totally see myself having sex with a woman to make money. I sure as hell wouldn’t want to, but at the end of the day it isn’t going to kill me, and it doesn’t all of a sudden make me straight or bi-sexual. Personally I see someone who cleans windows on a skyscraper to be more courageous than a straight man sucking a dick or getting fucked in the ass. Lol.

EXACTLY ….. it’s a pretty big slap in the face to the paying customers for Dande01 to be saying they’re “entitled” for complaining that most of recent boys don’t at least make you think they’re straight on a website called Broke Straight Boys They should just change the name to Broke Mostly Gay Boys then ……. I’ve had annual memberships regularly for well over 10 years …… but when this year is up, I might as well move on since it’s now considered a sene of ENTITLEMENT to expect boys who at least appear to be straight on a website I pay for that’s called Broke Straight Boys! Nice way to talk about the people who pay your salary with their memberships!

If you have read ALL my posts with Jay, I am not talking about any particular member or site, its a "general" statement which has nothing to do with Broke Straight Boys (which I stated). Although we are the crew that films Broke Straight Boys, we also watch porn and we are also the consumer as well. This statement from the original poster discussing his chat with a straight guy on Chaturbate, has nothing to do with Broke Straight Boys

Am I not allowed to join in conversation and make remarks that have nothing to do with Broke Straight Boys? This is a open forum and we discuss all sort of subjects and I think I would be allowed to make a comment as well on all sorts of subjects that I find interesting. If that is insulting to you or you took it the wrong way, I do apologies.

Going back to your original stint here on Broke Straight Boys, with us David, I’ve always loved that you join in with us on the forum. It is great to get your perspective as you are in the trenches with the models. Please do keep posing!

Agreed! I know the forum is a fickle mistress for you David. (To say the very least.) But I always appreciate that you make the effort to engage with the members. :)

it’s all good. There’s no war here. Just harmless debate.

I understand the complexity to make porn is no less difficult than a movie or internet series and the best porn sites are to be applauded.
