As I went through today's newspapers, I noticed two "hotties" in the news.

From the sports section:
Brady Quinn, the former Notre Dame quarterback who caught my eye several years ago is now going to start this week for the Kansas City Chiefs.

From the entertainment pages:
And I read a review for a new movie called "Chasing Mavericks", about an older surfer mentoring a young surfer played by Jonny Weston, who I was not familiar with. The film got poor reviews, but I wholeheartedly give four stars to young Jonny Weston.

The surfer doesn't do much for me, but that Q-back if fucking beautiful!!! If I had a poster of him I would hang it in my room (like the old days) haha

Also in the news.........Zac Efron is Still Single, Finds Dating ‘Hard and Awkward’

Zac Efron has admitted that he’s been having some trouble in the relationship department since breaking up with his long time girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. Though he has since been romantically linked to a number of girls, he insists that he is not a fan of dating, as he finds the whole situation awkward.

Efron explained, “Dating is kind of hard. A forced awkward situation is very strange. Especially for me, for some reason. I like to go and do something adventurous. I like to go out and do some sort of crazy activity.”

Efron then admitted that he finds it difficult maintaining a relationship in the public eye, “You always have to be careful, I guess, about that kind of thing. Every day is a new experience and I take it as it comes. Some people I worry about, some I really don’t have to,” he added.

Efron is set to star in the romantic comedy ‘Are We Officially Dating?’, which revolves around three friends in New York City who make a pact to remain single just as each starts to fall in love. Production is scheduled to begin in November in New York.

He’s 25.

Justin Bieber ‘crowns’ himself with new tattoo he tweeted to his fans.

“New tattoo its a crown if you couldn’t tell,” wrote Bieber, in which the fresh design is visible on his chest.

Of course, this is not the pop superstar’s first trip to a tattoo parlor.

Bieber has a number of ink jobs, including an image of Jesus on his left calf and a bird on his hip.

He is 18.

What's with this new trend of getting tats?

Taylor Swift Breaks Up With Conor Kennedy, Will Write Stupid Love Song Soon

Well, that didn’t last long. Taylor Swift has reportedly already split from her high-profile boyfriend, Conor Kennedy, and we can probably expect a song about it in the coming weeks. In fact, I’m starting to think she dates purely as a cure for writer’s block.

Taylor started dating the 18-year-old earlier this summer. Let me repeat that: He’s eighteen. He’s still in high school. I mean, I get it. He’s a Kennedy. He’s got nice eyebrows. But going to “senior prom” isn’t quite as cool when you’re nearing your mid-twenties.

“Taylor is enthralled with Ethel [Kennedy] and has been for a long time,” a Kennedy family source told the Daily News a while back. “When she and Conor first got together over, Taylor couldn’t have been more respectful.”

Ethel is, of course, the grandmother of Conor, and the widow of Robert F. Kennedy. Taylor has a fascination with her, like many people do. But for most of us, that fascination doesn’t lead to robbing the cradle.

Okay, so she nabbed a Kennedy, and a ripe one, at that. Good for her, I suppose. But the dream is over. Just this week, a friend of Swift’s told Us Weekly:


“They quietly parted ways a while ago. It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They’re fine.”

I have a theory about Justin Bieber. I may be totally wrong, but this is my personal opinion, regardless!

Perhaps Justin is just hanging around tatto parlors to be inked by big, fat, and hairy middle-aged or older men, three times the size of Justin's boyish body, thinking all the while, with enough time invested and ink splashed on him, someone will emerge from all the smoke to develop enough of a personal interest in him for all the right reasons and finally fulfill his unanswered longing for a "real dad" (father figure - biological or otherwise) some day. I believe Justin just basically wants someone (outside of his omni-present, but essentially well-intentioned mother) who really cares about him in a genuine fatherly way! Cares enough to challenge and hold Justin personally accountable when he is wrong while offering him, in his lonelier moments of self-doubt, a reassuring sincere hug ("like there is no tomorrow" kind of hug) while, at the same time, deliberately messing up his hair, all done in an attempt to bring him down a notch or two to better establish in Justin some sense of proportionality and real-world perspective in his view of the world, intermingled with unbridled fame, wealth, and limitless privilege.

You only have to ask yourself..."Who else could really reel-him-in? Certainly not members of his well-paid entourage. They serve the purpose of functioning as "Yes men" only! We all need some "trusted someone" to help us with establishing our own personal limits and boundaries!
