Dr Pepper! I'm in Texas! But I do enjoy a coke while in Europe it reminds me of home!

I know you may find this hard to believe, my friends do BUT I have never once tasted coffee!

If Barq's is not available then it has to be Pepsi, Coke just seems too "gassy" for me.

I'm quite ambivalent on coffee. I've never gotten what all the fuss was about. I'm only a social drinker. Of coffee that is. :) I never make it for myself at home. On the rare occasions that I dine out for breakfast with a group of friends, and they're all having coffee, I'll order coffee. I can tolerate it. It's nice to have a social beverage you can drink with other people that is non-alcoholic. Plus, the cup and saucer make for nice props in your hands while you're chatting and socializing. But coffee's not something I really enjoy. Although I do enjoy a really good French Vanilla Cappuccino once in a while.

Coffee usually tastes very bitter to my palate. I always have to doctor it up to cover the bitterness. Plus the caffeine in coffee reacts strangely to my system. Much more so than drinking caffeinated sodas. Even small amounts of coffee caffeine hit my system quickly and hard. It can make me jittery, nervous, toe tapping, and exacerbate my usual ever-present hand tremors. (Underlying neurological issues) So it's just as well that I never developed a taste for it. lol
