Busy Set

My friend Johnny has been complaining loudly about the busy set on Broke Straight Boys, and Sha did say that they will tone it down but I see in the still for the February 1 update, we still have most of it there. I agree with Johnny that my eyes wander all around the room rather than concentrating on faces and bodies, which should be the focus of the scenes. I do see that the fake beer and playing cards seems to be gone forever but I'd prefer a bed and a table than all the records on the wall and the dial pay phone. What is this retro Broke Straight Boys?

We complained about the stupid written signs on the wall and they made it worse by getting stuff from a car boot sale. Make it simple, a chair or a bed and 2 hot models. You'd swear it was a recruitment drive for a fire station.

I gave up on the set a while ago...but as I did mention in the Kaden Alexander/"Just-in" scene: I was totally focused on Kaden Alexander pinning "Just-in" to the wall while sucking and fucking him!

Actually we did tone it down if you look at this scene. The Kaden Alexander scene was filmed in December.

Honestly, in regards to the set, I think it just needs some revamping. Many of the signs are unnecessary. If you're going to go with a brick backdrop, then the bright red and yellow road signs are jarring. The Broke Straight Boys sign feels a tad self-aggrandizing and pulls focus away from the performers. The whole concept should be scrapped and rebuilt from the bottom, but that takes time and money and I have the feeling that Blue Media is a little short on resources right now, so I guess I'll have to learn how to like it.

I NO I am the odd man out on this ( and woman ), but If there's 2 hard dicks in the room, I don't pay much attention to what the walls , floor, ceiling, etc look like.....I'm focused on the Hot sex taking place. I've had sex in many different places, including barns where the cows and horses were, and in garages while we worked on a race car...and you know, it didn't phase me a bit, didn't bother me that Bessie was watching and I didn't mind the tools and grease in the garage....lololololol....granted I wouldn't decorate my house that way, even if I was 20 yrs old, but if 2 hot 20 yr old's wanted me to watch them have sex, I surely wouldn't say NO, you have 2 many signs on the walls.....anyhow, Just one gay mans opinion !!!!

I totally agree, rafe! Back in the day, I had sex in xxx store booths, cars, alleys, no tell hotels, bar bathrooms, etc. You could have the best set in the world and if the models are duds who watches? Does anybody watch just for the set?

I agree that when there are beautiful guys on screen, it could be filmed in the garbage dump and I would focus on the beauty of the guys, but unfortunately there have not been a whole lot of my type of guys on Broke Straight Boys in recent times, so when I do watch a scene, my eyes tend to wander, and I find myself reading the list of players for the dart games, like Brady Lasko and Tyler White, and I am checking the records on the walls to see if I can recognize the label or the artist, and that damn pay phone makes me check to see if it takes quarters or dimes.

Hot guys always trump over a tasteful set, but for the most part a simple couch and or bed with a lamp on the table is all that's necessary and then I will focus on body parts and sex acts, and not fake beer, cards and a big red set of a woman's boobs hanging over the action..

The set is too stylized and gets a lot of attention when the boys go too long in a position. It needs to be tuned down a bit so your eyes keep on target of the scene,that's the boys doing great sex. It's time to change the set as we're all too focused on the dart board, the red boobs, the payphone and the other unusual props. Just clean it up.

Well I'm just specking for myself.( No one else) I guess if Ian helped it was done by a Gay decorator. Without taste though.
To me it looks like a Pre School classroom. I will use a good old gay word Tacky Tacky Tacky..But I will just have to get used to it.
But I will never be able to give a 5 for a scene because it is part of the scene. And there have not been models lately stronger than the backdrop.
