BTS: Alan North Interview - outstanding

I am usually cyncial when it comes to these type of BTS's because my view is if a camera is rolling, then the interviewee is going to act the role. But in this case, how Alan presented himself and his life felt genuine to me and not made up or exaggerated. If I'm wrong then he should get a Porn Oscar for best actor. But I don't think I am. I think he was being honest and forthright in telling us about who he is as the person behind Alan North. I was also intrigued to hear him say he liked it rough. Hopefully, we'll get a dominant top at long last!

I also liked the format where there was no questioner, but Alan just responded to questions which I assume were on cue cards.

Great interview, Alan. Thanks for sharing so much of the person behind Alan North.

Agree with Stowe on this one. Alan provided the most engaging and interesting BTS yet, IMHO. And also made his much more appealing to me. Hope we have the pleasure of seeing him in action again.

At this day in time, I am generally much more entertained by the BTS than the current porn being featured on Broke Straight Boys, and this BTS was no exception. When I saw the name Alan North, I had to check through the episodes to see who he is, as he did not make a big impression on me in his two scenes, but after watching this interview I will always remember exactly who he is.

Much as the many BTS with Johnny Forza made me more of a fan of his than I ever was through watching his scenes, I feel the same way about Alan. I enjoy watching believably straight guys having gay sex, and that is why I joined this site, and I totally believe that Alan is who he says he is. The fact that he said that he had a couple of men suck his dick for money, resonates very true with me based in my past experiences with straight hustlers. I do believe that this guy is the real deal.

Besides his honesty, I also admire his intelligence and maturity. He has had a rough life through his first 22 years, but the experiences he has had gave him his toughness and so while he is not physically my ideal type, I have to say that I am now a fan of Alan North.

Alan North's interview was a slice of his life. Was interesting and sad. I wish his future makes up for all the things that happened in his life. Sex was not a big deal for him. It was like food. You need it to survive and go forward. I wonder how he will react with others. We will see.

I hate to sound like I'm straddling both sides of the fence but, for all of the seemingly, endless requests from members to management to show at least some results that "they are reading, listening and trying to implement" some of the suggested viewing pleasures, this interview came at just the right time. Whether it's just a case of "working with what they have" (from the pool of new applicants) or being consumed by new business ventures, it was still nice to see positive comments and sentiments especially from the members of long-standing. As I am always in favor of recognizing triumphs as well as disappointments, this one was a Triumph for team Blu Media. I have to also recognize two models in particular for their part in keeping members' interest though their interactions: IAN and DAMIEN. To me, this is a little bit of what makes this site stand out from the rest! May it continue forward!

I liked him from the his solo and the scene with Paul. Now I really like him as a person. He is a welcome breath of fresh straight boy that I love to see on this site. Welcome aboard Alan!!!

Alan reminds me of the guys I grew up with and around. My closest straight friend, Styx, is almost exactly of the same background and look right down to the tattoos and running the streets of Oakland and Benicia/Vallejo, except he fell into drug and alcohol addiction, supporting his habit with petty crime and prostitution taking a number of years to pull himself out of that morass. Alan has been lucky not to have that experience. But listening to him speak was like listening to one of my friends or clients. I was impressed with Alan's solo and his scene with Paul. That was because he had a sexual energy I liked. Now having had the opportunity to see another side of Alan I am even more impressed. It is often true that people assume based upon physical appearance - tattoos and such, or economic background that a person fits a certain mold. Alan busted that stereotype wide open and I am delighted to see that. Having grown up blue color and around other such folks I have run into that stereotype often in my life. Yet here I am a 60 year old attorney, well respected by my fellow attorneys. My friend Styx is a man who is half my age but wise beyond his years and with a depth of knowledge and compassion that people do not expect based upon his physical appearance.

Alan - I do not know if you will be reading these comments but I want to say I am glad you gave us the opportunity to meet you on this level and I hope we have the opportunity to learn more about you. I feel like I know you and if ever you come back to the Bay, you have a friend here.

This was a very good interview. I was impressed with how much Alan shared with us. He didn't hold back much in giving us a glimpse of inside his life. I am also so impressed that he did 3 tours in Iraq. We really owe him a debt of gratitude for his service. I would not have minded at all if Sha had done the interview on camera. Regardless though, it turned out very well.

The thing with Alan that is odd for me is that my office is in Oakland and depending on when he was living here and what exactly he was doing it is possible I could have run into him at some point although I do not recall doing so. But he would not have been the first straight guy who wandered by the now defunct Kimos in SF, the still operating Marks in SF or the White Horse in Oakland in hopes of making some rent money. Not to mention did a good number of them who have done a little stripping at the Nob Hill Theater.

It's amazing how the same kind of guys grow up on both coasts, and in fact in many cities in-between as well. They are straight in their orientation wanting to fuck girls, but they do notice that "certain" guys look at them with a hunger in their eyes that indicates that they have something to offer and they figure out that they can make a few bucks by selling their dicks or ass too.

Much as they say that prostitution is the world's oldest profession, apparently there have always been attractive young guys and older dudes with some money and how they tend to find one another. And so the world goes around.
