I was curious as to how many current members of the site care if models are

A) believably straight (and or)
B) new to porn when coming on to this site

From anyone who has read my countless posts on this forum, my preference is both A & B, but if guys are not necessarily classic broke "straight" boys when first arriving on the site, meaning living a mostly straight lifestyle where they do not consider themselves primarily gay, my second preference is a guy who is inexperienced to filming gay porn. A few examples are Tanner, who to my knowledge has not and does not work for any other studios, or Jake who never claimed to be straight but started here and also never went elsewhere to my knowledge. I am COMPLETELY in agreement with you.

There's no 'frisson' as intense as watching a previously straight bloke go through the awkward discovery of how to kiss another man, put his mouth on another man's penis, etc.

With the economic picture as it is, I could imagine there being a lot of appropriate candidates out there at the moment--but I'm not the expert that Our Dear Leader of Broke Straight Boys is.

Frankly, the reason all of us joined this site was to watch handsome young straight men get introduced and phased in to male on male sex. As you and Jay point out, if not totally straight, then believably straight. As one review I read of Broke Straight Boys put it, in Broke Straight Boys's earlier days straight dudes were tentatively and warily sucking their first dicks, whereas now they are enthusiastic and skilled cock suckers from the get go. Interesting thread. For me I don't really care if the tops are straight, bi or gay. The same for the bottoms. As long as they do a convincing scene I have no problem with their orientation. As I have said on other threads I really don't believe there is such a thing on this site as a totally straight boy. They are bi at best.
