Thanks for posting, wwlh. I've said similar things in a post on another scene quite a while ago, and later had things set right (and respectfully so). I feel confident in saying that
Broke Straight Boys would never let things have gotten to the point where Jarod was pushed to the point of abuse. I have o doubt that he was probably pretty sore after this shoot, but not past the point where he would have stopped things himself. I agree that Brenden would never have gotten away with kissing a girl like that. In fact, that was one of the first things that came to my mind, but you have to remember that he wasn't with a girl. And I doubt that when he's been with a girl, it wasn't on a set with lights, cameras, and a crew with watching everything. Personally, I got the impression that he was quite nervous (more like scared as hell) and concerned with getting and maintaining an erection. Everything he did seemed to be exaggerated. Once he did get hard, and knew that Jared was ready to be fucked, he really went at it before he lost his boner again. I don't think there was any malice on his part and don't think Jarod (or
Broke Straight Boys) would have ignored any abuse.
When I first joined the forum last October, I made the same accusations, publicly, against another model. The only difference, I think, is that I wasn't quite as restrained as you. The model himself responded to me, on the forum, and explained to me (in a very mature and respectful way, by the way) that he would never have gone farther than the other model wanted, that is was part of the scene, and that his partner was on board with it and actually enjoyed it. I ended up apologizing to him on the forum, and have had nothing but respect for the young man ever since.
I think you and I think alike in that rough sex can go too far, and that when someone says to "slow down", that you should respect that. But I think we have to take into account that this is a production. I think that
Broke Straight Boys is a reputable studio that would not allow abuse to happen, and that something like this can happen when you're dealing with inexperienced models. There's no way we can tell how many times this scene was stopped and started, since that gets edited out of the final product, but I doubt that many, if any, scenes are ever done in one take. I'm willing to cut Brenden some slack on this, and attribute what looked like boorish behaviour on inexperience. I'll wait and see how he is in other scenes. Maybe it turns out that he is indeed, a great big asshole. If that's the case, then it's up to
Broke Straight Boys to take care of it.
I'm just trying to pass along an example of when I felt the exact same way you do. I hope it helps.
