I noticed that as well along with the fact it was never said that he HAD been fucked previously, and the scene page does state or at least strongly implies that this was in fact Bruce's first time anal. So while there may or may not have been some deliberate ambiguity in that, I went along with what the scene notes said or at a minimum strongly implied as that added to a very strong scene.

Just watched the post scene interview.
