I have been following a little bit about Rep. Boehner's threatened lawsuit against Obama for abuse of executive authority. One of the interviews making news right now is from no less than Fox news. But it's the reason for it that makes it most intriguing. Neil Cavuto is interviewing Republican darling Michelle Bachman. Her propensity for taking standard partisan rhetoric to an almost Alice in Wonderland level of idiocy is well known. Nonetheless she still enjoys the spotlight and name recognition that it brings her, even when some of her rhetorical overreach makes her look foolish.
So here she came to a network that is the most friendly of any on the planet to Republicans. She had her Republican talking points and sound bites memorized and ready for use in this particular discussion...and was expecting a cakewalk of an interview. She threw out that Americans were "Outraged!" by the Obama's use/abuse of executive privilege to bypass Congress. I don't know about the rest of you...but I didn't lose any sleep over it last night. Nor do I know anyone who did. haha
Her interview did not go as planned:
