Please don't relegate me to the back of the bus!

Dear Keylow,

IN MY OPINION, NOT NECESSARILY! ESPECIALLY IF THE UPDATE HAS "BB" INCLUDED, THEN IT IS NECESSARILY AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE SCENE! I AM NOT GOING TO ASSUME THE AUTHORITY TO REDIRECT YOUR THOUGHTS ELSEWHERE ON THE FORUM. THEREFORE, WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO REDIRECT MY COMMENTS AND/OR THOUGHTS ELSEWHERE? ARE YOU A SWORN-IN, DULY DEPUTIZED MEMBER OF THE "BB - THOUGHT POLICE"? I GUESS NOT! THAT WAS A GOOD TRY, BUT NO CIGAR!

I HAVE NOT ATTACKED YOU FOR YOUR VIEWS NOR LIMITED YOU FOR WHERE YOU CAN PUT THEM! SO I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE A LITTLE CIVILITY AND MUTUAL RESPECT FOR OPPOSING VIEWS POSTED ON THE FORUM, AS HAS BEEN OUR TRADITION!

Sincerely,

Stimpy

I agree with Stimpy. If I am talking about a scene with bareback sex in it, how could I not talk about it when discussing the scene?

I agree with you stimpy but you yourself did not watch the scene so arguing back and forth about bareback instead of the scene takes away from talking about the scene. I am sorry you feel offended I just like things to flow and be in order and if you do not watch scenes for your belief that what they are doing is wrong. Why spend time commenting on something you did not see?

Not to mention that some of the BB argument posted on the scene thread was not CIVIL, and people did get hurt.:frown:

You do have a point whether it is necessary to post an anti bareback rant each time there is a film. If what we hear from the latest models threads is true then Stimpy you may as well save your post and just cut and paste into a lot of upcoming threads. It's not that I don't agree with your bb stance, it's just that it looses it's impact and it just introduces more and repeated conflict into other threads. However, this thread was probably unnecessary because there is already a massive bareback thread in existence..

Sociopath at large!!!

Dear Ms. Kianna,

Maybe I am just blind, but I cannot find any lack of civility on my part in this thread. Was that what you were implying I was guilty of? If so, please show me what I cannot see on my own that you find is so offensive! I think I can handle it!

Sincerely clueless,

Stimpy

I'd say that 95pc of the lack of civility on the SCENE thread came from those who were anti Lucas. Blake can do no wrong in most peoples eyes on this forum - even if he takes a raw dick up his ass.

I did not single you out, Stimpy. I said some of the BB discussion on the scene thread was not civil, and people got hurt. I did not name names, and bitterly call individuals names out to yell at them, or humiliate them. You said you would APPRECIATE A LITTLE CIVILITY AND MUTUAL RESPECT FOR OPPOSING VIEWS POSTED ON THE FORUM. I say, that some members need to look up the definition of civility.

I agree Ms K the BB scene post are getting out of hand some people are taking it personal and insulting people that is on both sides of the argument. We all just need to agree to disagree. This reminds me of the repeal of don't ask don't tell, yes it was repealed but coming out was not as easy as people thought. Male soldiers even asked for gay and straight showers and latrines because they believed that gay service members wanted them or they could catch something from them. These men fought together and were friends but coming out ended it and we are still feeling the effects of it. Can we not be civil for when civility fails how far are we from the abyss.

By my basic nature, I'm not the "vendictive-type-of-person"!

Dear Jon,

As you have already correctly identified me as one of the "BLAKE lovers"(fans), please understand that I had been looking forward to seeing BLAKE in his next Broke Straight Boys update(regardless of the partner). With all the BB controversy going on in the background, naturally I wanted to see for myself that BLAKE safely avoided the "BB pitfall", but unfortunately I was greeted with the "BB disclaimer" instead, telling me clearly that my worst fears for BLAKE's personal safety and health had already been realized in a potentially unsafe and high-risk way. Yes, I read every word of the forward telling me essentially much more than I had ever hoped to hear. But Jon, I recently remember reading a post of yours on an update stating clearly you had insufficient time to view the update in question and would watch it ASAP!

Do I have to spell it out for you or have you done precisely the same thing yourself, namely "commenting in a thread of a yet unseen update, that I now stand accused of", while I am currently being admonished for doing precisely the same thing you had done earlier on? Is it just me OR is it not the fact that...

"What's good for the Goose is good for the Gander", as well!

The fact that I utilize a wordy writing-style does not guarantee that everything I post on the forum is necessarily a "rant"! I usually associate a "rant" with what is essentially the equivalent of a "tirade" - defined as..."A long, angry speech of criticism or accusation" and somehow this simply doesn't quiet rise to the occasion. Even if I occasionally fail to amuse, I still attempt to use some humor to lighten up my heavy message!

OFTEN, I WRITE FROM MY DISAPPOINTMENT, MY DISBELIEF, AND/OR MY DISMAY,
BUT NEVER DO I WRITE FROM SHEER ANGER OR OUT OF SEEKING REVENGE!

Jon, please hear me out on this: "If I did not value your opinion so much, I would never waste your time nor mine inviting your response!" We may not see eye-to-eye on certain issues, but I would never want to be deliberately dismissive or condescending of what you routinely contribute to the forum! BTW, thanks for posting that article from BBC (Health News) on current trends in increased HIV infection reportings. It was important for all of us to know what it contained.

Neither do I hold any innate dislike for- NOR maintain any grudge against you and your stated opinions! I may be guilty o making posts that, from time-to-time, are ":offtopic:"! Maybe I'm simply not worth shooting! For all I know, please don't point any loaded gun at my butt as my ass is "officially: "off-season - Federally-protected Wildlife Refuge" and long-past the "manufacturer's expiration date"! :truce:

I leave you with these familar "last words" from Broke Straight Boys's Poet Laureate, Willie Shake-A-Speare who wrote long ago(before Al Gore officially invented the internet):

"Friends, Romans, and fellow Forumites, lend me your rears;
I come to bury Caesar's BB, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them, like heartburn;
The good is oft interred with their boners;
So let it be with Caesar's BB. The noble Brutus
Hath told you Caesar's BB was apocalyptic:
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And grievously hath Caesar answer'd it..."

:thankyou:

Sincerely,:nana:

Stimpy, Ms. K was referring to the thread 'Blake and Lucas' where some comments made by some members overwhelmed me beyond words.
She only did what a good friend would and stood by me. Of course, I didn't ask her to, which makes her even more of a great person.

Re-igniting the same debate over and over again in all those threads that are not specifically about barebacking or its morality goes beyond expressing your opinion; it's flaming! It's simply your attempt at protesting and having things come back to the way they were but it's frustrating for those that just want to HAVE FUN, discuss the scene without suffering the same deate over and over again. We're past it already!

All it does is create tension and war in the forum, when many members that don't even bother posting comments do ENJOY such scenes!

The phenomenon is called free speech.

Dear Ms. Kianna,

I guess everybody seems to be walking on eggshells since BB came home to roost at Broke Straight Boys I am sure some on the other side of BB find me offensive, but mostly I am expressing my opinion for the welfare and safety of our models, who must think all of Broke Straight Boys's fans are demanding BB and this is definitely not the case, speaking only for myself. There are others with similar views on the forum who agree with my view and most of all want to "Return the Genie to the Bottle". I have no idea of the demand coming from non-forum members.

With all the tension surrounding this divisive issue, I can't imagine OUR MODELS knowing which way to cope, other than "WALKING ON EGGSHELLS MODE FOR THEIR CHOSEN LINE OF WORK" for the time being!

I agree with you on the "Civility Issue". I just think this has mushroomed into a "Winner take All" approach with a significant part of each camp feeling betrayed if their side doesn't prevail. Personally, I would greatly appreciate two ways to sign in to Broke Straight Boys, one with and the other without BB. Naturally, this will mean that non-BB side will feel cheated if there aren't 3 updates per week representing these two diametrically opposing views.

I remember when we changed form Broke Straight Boys to Broke Straight Boys-2. I was extremenly upset loosing familar, well-established models just because of changing the director. It was a bumpy ride then and it took months and months of duds before the episodes finally got tolerable. There was all this abhorrent throwing money around, models saying mechanically that they willl do anything for money, and establlishing a relationship with new models took longer than a year before that showed any improvement.

It seems like every change has to upset the applecart before it finally gets resolved and approaching the performance levels before the change. This is especially disturbing because I asked for none of this BB scene. I didn't even have a clue it was rearing it's ugly head. I thought Broke Straight Boys had its standards and this was outside our standards. Personally, I find the mere mention of BB to be way too extreme for the sake of our models! Personally. I can't imagine how wearing a condom can be such a detriment to Broke Straight Boys's fortunes. I thought and had hoped we were better than that! One would naturally hope we have learned the lessons of our former mistakes leading to the HIV crisis. Evidently not! This sounds like it was deliberatly engineered by those repressive fundamentalist christians and Republican extremists to hold Gay Rights back from receiving equal rights in the US.

Sincerely distressed by "BB dark cloud overhead",

Stimpy

Dear Stimpy,

I think there is a lot of difference between saying I havnt seen this film yet as I'm too busy so I'll watch it later (many people do the same), than preaching the way that you did. Your comparisons don't match up. Sorry.
