Honestly, I didn't even watch this BTS through to the end, but then I usually miss the BTS's altogether. Sorry, but I don't trust people who are fast talkers. The whole 'my family, I don't have any family' bit didn't lend him any more credibility. But I don't watch porn for the backstory. It can sometimes add to a model's persona but it's not necessary. He didn't interview well. Mostly I guess because he was trying to dodge and weave around the truth about his real life. He didn't want to do the typical Broke Straight Boys form of interview in the first place. So he would make stuff up. Then he'd backtrack on a previous statement, contradict it, and then share something that might be true. Or partly true. So who knows? The majority of it seemed to be just a string of statements designed by Ari to run down the clock and get to the end of the interview. Even Sha got a little exasperated by it all at the end, and said he was going to, "cut the interview short" and proceed with Ari's upcoming scene.

So no. He didn't interview well. In spite of a few tattoos that carry some spiritual and/or religious significance, the rest are rather cartoonish and don't make him (in my eyes) look especially roguish, sexy, hip, cool, or whatever. I'm not sure what look or attitude he's trying to convey to the world with the tats. Or for that matter if he really ever put much thought into how they would represent him and appear to the rest of the world in the long term.

But of course we haven't seen him perform yet, which I'm sure he would tell us is his real forte. So we'll see.

I couldn't agree with this more. I know they have to create a stage persona, but if you're going to make up a life you had better have it down pat. Better, tell the truth.
