Antonio Drake's Final Thoughts

I was not a fan of Antonio's as he simply isn't physically my type, but this was a compelling video. I always clamor for believably straight guys on Broke Straight Boys, and both Antonio and Cage Kafig come across as the genuine article after watching this apparently very real situation. This is reminiscent of the episode where "Reluctant Mike" also called for a scene to end during the filming, with Lucas. I've always respected Sha and I continue to respect him for the way he handled this potentially very uncomfortable situation and I thank Antonio for the way he handled himself as well.

When Antonio first came to us, just from his demeanor I wondered what he was doing here. I chalked it up to newbie nerves, but obviously it went much deeper than that. I give him credit for being mature enough to understand what was going on within himself and not be afraid to act on it. His explanation was coherent and very well stated and for that and the work he has done here, I gave him and the scene a 5.

Cage Kafig was very kind and considerate in giving Antonio his experience here and how he overcame his concerns. But he was straightforward enough to say to Antonio that every situation was different. I just hope that management was able to get a substitute scene so Cage Kafig was not out a salary for the aborted scene, since he needs the work as Broke Straight Boys is his primary source of income to support his family.

And sha, the loving consideration you have for the guys and concern for their well-being in all aspects of their person was on full display here and just confirmed what we know of you from the brief times we see you post of the forum and are at Pride events. Your handling of this situation was just perfect.

I hope as future departures of models occurs, where circumstances permit, these kinds of videos are done so the membership can know why a model is no longer with us.

To begin I think Broke Straight Boys from Sha to Mark and all the others are open to us about almost everything. I find that so unusual in todays business world. Thank you. Since this has happened more than once. I think a more intensive application maybe including a psychiatric examination for the legally aged but young applicants should be done. Have them have sex with each other off camera a few times so that if they decide to leave they have no trail in media (internet) to follow them later. If they can suck and fuck and then want to continue put them on film.

This is a compelling video. I want to thank Sha and Broke Straight Boys for sharing this with us. Shakespeare has Polonius say "This above all to thine ownself be true" and that is exactly what Antonio is doing. I admire him for this. The most important thing in life is to be at peace with yourself. I'm a fan of his and will miss him, but I'm not sorry to see him go because he is being true to himself.

You said that very well Stowe. My respect for Sha and the Broke Straight Boys team is continually reinforced by situations such as these. This was an amazing video to share with the members. I'm very impressed with Antonio being so honest about it and true to himself. If the gay for pay work is going to fill him with so much stress and inner conflict, then it's not worth it. One has to keep his self esteem and self confidence intact. If you're putting yourself in a situation that is causing you nothing but anxiety and apprehension, then you need to bail out. I thank Antonio for agreeing to let such a large segment of this discussion to be filmed and shared on the site.

I really respect Cage Kafig all the more (and have become an even bigger fan) after seeing him give such heartfelt and honest advice from his own experience. I do wish that he would get another job at home so that the work here on the site would just supplement his other primary income. Models typically do not have a long shelf life in this business. I would hate for Cage Kafig to become bitter when eventually the porn work inevitably starts to dry up.

I remember how hurt, angry and bitter Mike Robbins was when he was no longer offered more work. It was heartbreaking to watch. I never want to see that happen to anyone who I feel that I care about. Of course I don't want to see anyone become embittered whether I feel a connection with them or not.

I really appreciate the fact that Antonio allowed us a much more personal farewell to the members and his fans. He didn't have to do that. He could have refused to share any of this on camera and (like so many others before him) just faded away from us for reasons unknown. In the eyes of us members this has to be one of the classiest ways that a model has left the site. For that we have to thank Antonio, Cage Kafig and the Broke Straight Boys staff.

Godspeed Antonio! And by whatever other name you go by. May you have a happy, prosperous and blessed life.

lol, no he isn't confused. Cage Kafig did go to other sites. I am not sure if we can name them but he did. Also, at the time Cage Kafig had released some youtube video ranting about Broke Straight Boys but obviously he has grown and changed, and he seems better now.

I'll just put my two cents in here briefly... at first I was surprised to see this video being posted. Reading the description made it seem like it just might be too personal to have out there. Maybe it was... don't know...I sure can't put myself in the the models' position. I can only imagine how tough it must be. I too wish Antonio the best of luck in his future and appreciate how Sha handled the situation in the parts we were able to see. Others have said similar statements so I'll leave it at that.

As others have alluded to, Cage Kafig had a falling out with the company as well as a lot of drama going on in his personal life at the time. With time, that rift was healed. He has come back to us looking more handsome than ever and with a much more mature, worldly and pragmatic perspective on life. I'm really happy for him that he has so much more self-confidence. He still wants to be able to support his daughter with a job that pays much better than minimum wage. So he cares about doing a good job for his fans and keeping his rating up.
